Call them.and ask what’s available to you. I was able to book a discounted cruise for 2023.

So curious to how everyone approaches the call to BCC for discounted cruises?

- did you already have a cruise booked then call BCC to inquire if they could discount/reduce?

- nothing booked but have a specific cruise in mind when calling?

- nothing booked but have a timeframe in mind and let BCC offer(s) guide you to something?

When I have called about any discount I was always told they work in a 6 month window and to call back when the cruise date was closer.  Perhaps things have evolved or perhaps I just don't know how to speak their language.

If you don't mind saying ... is the discount you got 10% or similar type discount?  It clearly can't beat a 'free' base cruise but a reasonable discount could still entice to book something further out.

Mind doing a huge favor, ask them if they're providing drinks while playing for those without an alcoholic packages?  (may vary by ship)

I am curious about this also.  Both my hubby and I are Amethyst.  We have never purchased a drink since we always received free drinks in casino.  Has this changed?

My spouse was offered a free cruise as well.  Waited for rep to call for several days, maybe a couple of weeks after the email stating we would be contacted by phone.

Finally sent an email and voila, we discovered that they had scheduled it .

Total cost for 5 night cruise out of Miami. $279.00. Veranda cabin. Mid ship.

The bonus was when I contacted them to pay and discovered they were offering a $100.00 off pp airfare.  Great deal!

Is it true that you can call BCC and many time request a quote for booking and the price will be much lower than you would you expect. Does BCC have a specific phone number to call to possibly receive a highly discounted rate and if so what is the phone number to call.

When I call outside the 6 month window I get the casino rate which is about a third off the rate.  But I have picked my cabin.  I call back inside the 6 month window and before final payment,  or if I get an offer in the mail, and the price gets reduced to taxes and port fees, although sometimes those are comped. If I get a new rep who says no to the repricing I ask for a supervisor.  My mom (a super senior) is the player - she also gets substantial free play money based on her last cruise, free specialty restaurants,  etc.  Basically the cruise host wipes out her on board account on the final night.

BTW, when making a BCC booking if you're MLife Gold or above, give the booking agent your MLife number as it needs to be added to each sailing to get the OBC.

MLife is very generous matching with other casino's loyalty programs and if you're Captain Club Select or higher, MLife will give you Gold, worth reaching out to them because if you can get MLife Gold, X will give you a $125 OBC (for Gold) and will waive the 3% credit card fee

i was told in 2019 no mLife OBC if you're on a casino comp or discounted cruise.

I'm mLife platinum

Hello, everybody, I have cruised many,  many times on Royal, and joined Blue Chip on my one Celebrity cruise two years ago.  My sister, and a few friends, booked a nine day cruise around Spain, for October 2022.  I booked the same class balcony stateroom for half the price through Blue Chip.   My sister then called Blue Chip and got the same deal, as her husband does visit the casino every night during their cruises.

Dang, they were open yesterday and generally are not that busy on weekends.  This was not the case pre-covid and a lot of people did not know that.

I am first time Celebrity, elite Princess.   I usually play slots only and on Princess the “draws” are charged to my room via my room card.   There is no fee for this.

is this the case for Celebrity?    I read they charge 5% for sea pass charges which is not acceptable to me.

Other than carrying excess cash on the cruise, how do players get $$$$$ to use in casino?

I do have a debit card that will refund any ATM charges.   Is that an option?

Please help!  I hate paying fees!   And I hate carrying around cash…….got pickpocketed in Italy once and learned my lesson too well.

If I have to take cash, can I load it up all at once to OBC and then get refund at the end of the cruise?

Thanks for starting this thread....I realize we have not been using our BCC offers to full advantage, thanks to all of you.

Are you ever able to get a discount on a Sky Suite?  Or have you been able to get an upgrade, and at what cost, if you don’t mind sharing?

Hi - we just got off Edge B2B cruise both comped from Blue chip club. I recommend you call Blue Chip and see if they can match your status with Princess for casino purposes. I am Amethyst which is mid level in the Blue Chip club and am able to charge up to $5000 a day to the room with zero fees. You may be able to arrange the same based on your previous play on Princess

Have you heard of them matching other cruise lines or suggesting it can't hurt to try?  In 2019 I inquired about a status match to CCL, they said there's no status matching at all.

No I havent heard of them status matching - I did see that Carnival has been advertising they might be doing it. I just thought it might be worth a shot to ask ? Or if you happen to have status with MGM properties that also might work

Absolutely yes.      I have another cruise coming on Apex in April 2022 that I got thru the BCC.    It was originally an offer for a discounted Edge Veranda sailing...$1500 TOTAL for a 7 day cruise for my wife and I, with all 4 perks included.   When I talked to the BCC rep, in humor I asked..."Well how much for a suite?"    Her answer was $2900 for a Magic Carpet Sky suite, with all perks included.    We freaked and immediately said yes.    The Edge cruise ultimately got cancelled and we did a Lift and Shift to Apex....same room, same rate.    So my gang got all 4 Magic Carpet suites for that rate on the April 2, 2022 sailing on Apex.

So go for it and take advantage where it makes sense.    If the deal makes sense for you, go for it.   If not politely decline.
