Los Lobos al a carte just appetizers?

Is it acceptable to dine at Los Lobos and just order a few appetizers and drinks from our dining plan?

You could, but the appetizers are really cheap. It would be a waste of a dining credit in my opinion.  
 

But there is no problem just having drinks and apps.

Thanks!  That's what I was thinking too, just having apps at Los Lobos out of pocket and using the credit elsewhere.

When you arrive, you will be asked if you wish to use one of your specialty dining credits. Just let them know you will pay directly and no problem.

You can also have the guacomole prepared at the bar.  We frequently do that for an app before dining elsewhere.

We love Los Lobos, but we never use a dining package credit there.  We almost always just order several appetizers a la carte along with those GREAT Margaritas !

Yes this is perfectly fine and is exactly what we did.  We split several appetizers which were delicious btw

We always start with the tableside Guacamole.   Also, highly suggest the Elotes (street corn).     A great place to get just a small meal or a full meal.

We have only ever ordered the guacamole, so I don't know the answer.  But I would think you could.

No.

However, I have always believed NCL will start opening specialty restaurants for lunch someday.  They are already popular and they make so much money.  Its a no brainer to open it for lunch.  With all the opportunities to make money with go carts, etc.  Specialty lunch is bound to happen.

The Food Republic is an outstanding specialty lunch option!!!!
