So, if you're looking for a thrill ride, just take a taxi ride here in Nassau.

our taxi driver in FLL drove off while I was still standing next to the taxi bucking my kid into the car seat. Boy, they are in a hurry... Now we do uber or lyft if we can help it.

I was also disappointed about not being able to sit at the bar. As a solo cruiser, that's my "go to" spot in any bar. But, I can fully understand that RCI is doing that out of an abundance of caution (social distancing). They're doing social distancing in the theaters, clubs & restaurants, as well. Even sitting at a table. I've been able to talk to the waiters and people at other tables around me. I find it fascinating to find out what country the various ship staffers (and Coco Cay staffers) are from.

Not to start a pi^^*ng contest, but when talking with the different bartenders, they found it as ironic as we did that you could put 8 - 10 people together in a Hot Tub, but you were not allowed to space yourselves at the bar. But as some have stated, we made do with talking to people at other tables along with the bartenders coming to your table to converse.

This thread is going to be bad for my wallet. Based on your reviews and pictures, I just bit the bullet and ordered the 3 night dining package for my family. Thank goodness with all of these drink pictures I already have the drink package purchased! lol

None of this ever made any sense....why couild you take your mask off at a table but must wear it to walk in the restaurant?  DUH

Oh, and who is naïve enough to think there was no kissing and hugging for a whole year.  Let's get real for a change?

Yeah, for me it's 1. Schooner Bar (for the aforementioned reason) 2. Duck and Dog Pub (because I like duckies & doggies, lol).

I had read about no sitting at the bars on Adventure, so was extremely pleased that we were able to sit at the bars on Freedom that were designated as "vaccinated-only area", which included the casino bar, Schooner bar and the Pub.

Nice! I think you made a smart choice. You still will have opportunities to eat dinner in the MDR, while at the same time being able to try 3 of the specialty restaurants. Adventure doesn't have that many specialty restaurants anyway. (I think Chops, Giovanni's and Chef's Rable are about it. Johnny Rockets has a cover charge, so I guess it's kind of like a specialty restauranr.

Fortunately, there has been no masks required for passengers on Adventure or on Coco Cay (key).  Just the RCI staff have to wear masks.

RCI should've done the same thing on Adventure. What, the covid virus is only going to target Adventure and give Freedom a pass?  Makes absolutely no sense. Also, why are RCI staff wearing masks outside on Coco Cay (key), when they've been vaccinated?

I think it is just a PR move by RCI. It sure as heck has nothing to do with the science.

I was referring to the whole last 15 months

Not going to lie, DH and I sat at the bar while we “waited” for our drinks to me made and cashed out by the bar tender.  If we were feeling up to it, we stood at the bar.

I also agree that it is a very silly rule!  The *only* explanation I could come up with is that maybe they don’t want us too close to other people’s drinks being made? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Well, if the cab driver took off while you were BUCKING your kid, I guess I understand why he took off without you!😁

O.k.,  I need all the ladies to look away (and no peeking). This post will probably get "nuked" anyway. Q; should  I buy these items at the straw market, lol?

I thought you've escalated your beer drinking game high enough to not even consider the distant association with those lower tier brews?

I like the seating on the Royal Promenade. It is just a short walk to get some pizza to go with my beer.

I'm surprised that you would call it pizza.  I like it, especially late at night after a few drinks, but I thought your standards might be a bit higher than mine.

Edmond Fitzgerald...tada

Local radio station when I was in college a hundred years ago, would play it every morning  at 8am.  Always wondered if that was time she sank. Woke up to it for several years!
