Regal Dining Rooms-Preference

Main difference is location, one being aft on deck 6 (accessible from rear stairs and elevators only) the other being mid-ship on deck 6.

Menus are the same. Decor is essentially the same. Size is about the same.

Menus are all the same. Decoration basically all the same. Prefer the two mid ship DR's to the aft one. The aft DR sits alone there on deck 6. You have to take only the aft elevators or stairs down to deck 6 from deck 7 or above. To exit you have to go up to deck 7 or higher to access any other area of the ship. There is no connection on deck 6 from mid ship to the aft DR.

The lower AFT dining room does have a different layout and decor.

Also, because the location is not as convenient. (no direct access from Piazza) This dining room is often not as busy.   We were directed down to that dining room on our last cruise, and had a wonderful and uncrowded dining experience and service.

Many love to dine right off the Piazza, before dinner drinks, music, entertainment.

But, for those who might consider doing to the lower AFT dining room, It can be a different experience.

Same menu, of course!

In the past (pre-Covid) they would be designated  "Anytime Dining" or "Traditional Dining".  Who knows how that will shake out now...

When a dining room was Traditional, the waitstaff easily could co-ordinate serving multiple tables since they were proceeding through the dinner courses at about the same time.

If all dining rooms now have different tables starting at different 15 minute intervals, it might be harder on the waitstaff to co-ordinate the service than in the past.
