Going on the Pride on 11/21. Do we enter the ship on the 2nd level?

I have never been on a ship like her. She is unique.

What is your favorite part of the Pride?

Bobbi

I have described it to others as, just small enough to not feel big, and just big enough to not feel small. Pride (and the other Spirit ships) are generally well liked (I know I love them personally). You never really have to wait in a line for anything except the dining room, and even then, its the YTD people. If you are not YTD, you just walk in and to your table, bypassing the long line. Everything is spaced out very well, and you never feel like you are stuck in a crowd somewhere. My opinion, way more space than a Fantasy class ship without the large bump in capacity. Also helps that like 70% of Spirit class cabins are balcony.

Oh, another thing, eat at the Steakhouse at least once. Its really cool sitting under the front of the funnel (glass enclosure). Gives a really neat reddish hue to everything

Good deal.  We're booked on the Pride in December and the Miracle next September.  Looking forward to checking out the Spirit Class for the first time.

Also has a retractable roof on Lido, and from what I hear, one of the better Serenity areas too

Looks like the Serenity deck has restrooms,  bar, pool and hot tub! That is awesome.  It is annoying to have to leave Serenity for the essentials. Drinks and potty.

We love the layout of the Spirit class ship and love the Pride.  Floor plan is easy to lean and walk.  We love sailing on the Pride and will miss her and Ken in the MDR.  The Spirit and Sunshine Classes have a space ratio 41, which is the highest in the fleet.

We love the Dive-in movies, MDR, Punchlines, staff and the available deck space.  When the Legend takes over the Baltimore route we will miss the Dive-in movies.  Enjoy your cruise!

I've been on the Pride 5x and Legend 2x.  From memory, both have dive in movies and both are nearly identical, except one has a more beautiful casino and one has a huge naked statue by michelangelo greeting you at the steakhouse.

It's been a few years since I've been on the Pride but we've sailed on her at least 5 times.  There is a sun deck up on 10 or 11 that NO ONE knows about.  We always head there for some quiet sunning.  One cruise the only other people we saw there were crew.

Under 50 days for the next sailing 😊

A few years ago they slapped a fig leaf on it!!!

I have been on the Pride many times and I'd go back in a heartbeat. I wish they'd change up the itinerary, but there's not much they can do out of Baltimore in 7 days. Still, I'd be happy to stay on board the whole week too. I love the crew, the layout, just the whole feel - everything everyone has said so far.

Here's a pretty spot on assessment of the Pride: https://cruisespotlight.com/5-hits-and-5-misses-on-the-carnival-pride

We have never sailed the Pride, but are booked for a future sailing.  However, we have taken several cruises on the Miracle and Legend and like the Spirit class ships.  We have also sailed out of Baltimore due to location.

I would say that the article is a pretty good assessment of Spirit class ships.

7X on Pride.  My favorite for some of the reasons others have stated.

Never thought my 1/2020 Journey's would be my last cruise on Pride and any other ship for this long.

I'll miss Pride from Baltimore but will get used to Legend.  Prefer to sail without flying.

Great ship. Great crew.  Enjoy!

My fav is the Pride.  We've sailed on her at least 6 times.  On the legend in December.   I also have been on the Vista and Horizon and we like the Spirit class ship  the best. Just the right size.  I like the Red Frog Pub,  which they don't have on the Vista class ships.  As others have said the serenity area because it has a pool unlike again the Vista class ships do not.  A lot bundled in a smaller ship.  You will love it.

I am sure we will spend more time outside and less time inside enjoying shows/bars due to the masks. I am very excited about the Serenity area.

Pride is one of our favorites also.

Hard to believe she’ll be 20 this year.

I didn't realize that, wow.  Maybe CCL will make a modern duplicate of a  spirit class ship.  They are so popular.

The Pride is my favorite cruise ship of all ships and brands. I do not care that the ship is 20 years old. It was the pinnacle of design for the comfort of the passenger. More space per passenger than any cruise ship afloat today. When you are on it, pay attention to the layout compared to other designs. Large common rooms that are completely rooms instead of just a space. I have two cruises booked on the Pride in 2022 and am hoping everything eventually gets back to normal.
