MAGSMFC Posted August 15, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2021 Can anyone please tell me if you are allowed in Coastal Kitchen if you book a Junior Suite on the Southampton sailings. Also if you book a Grand Suite are they serving Alcohol in the Suite lounge. Many thanks.

Yes, for dinner only as usual. 4 minutes ago, MAGSMFC said: Also if you book a Grand Suite are they serving Alcohol in the Suite lounge. Sorry, not sure but someone else will undoubtedly know. My understanding is that the lounge does still serve drinks during happy hour. (5:00-8:30?)

smedley_odwin Posted August 16, 2021 #6 Share Posted August 16, 2021 We had a junior suite on the 1st August Anthem Cruise, didn't manage to get into Coastal Kitchen as it was booked up with Suite guests.

You need to go and try and book dinner reservations (only) as soon as you embark.

Hi we are on Anthem now and in a JS…. We’ve had no problem getting into coastal for dinner but please note you cannot book for the whole cruise immediately - they are asking us to book each day at a time…… bit of a pain but it’s worth it

cublet Posted August 17, 2021 #13 Share Posted August 17, 2021 Hello, Is there a charge for people in JS to eat in Coastal Kitchen? How often does the menu change? Regards, Cublet

Truluv Posted August 17, 2021 #16 Share Posted August 17, 2021 Just curious...is Coastal Kitchen really worth it? And have you ever spotted any solo cruisers dining there? I usually book a JS, but have never dined in the Coastal Kitchen.
DaniDanielle Posted August 17, 2021 #17 Share Posted August 17, 2021 It was a nice change from MDR. We only went when the menu was to our liking.
Cigar King Posted August 17, 2021 #18 Share Posted August 17, 2021 Agreed. It's nice to be able to mix it up and have options. That being said, make your reservations early. It tends to fill up especially on cruises with a lot of Pinnacles.

It's changed over time- but we still find it better than the MDR. Especially as it's considerably quieter.
