Junior Suite On Anthem of Seas

Can anyone please tell me if you are allowed in Coastal Kitchen if you book a Junior Suite on the Southampton sailings.

 

Also if you book a Grand Suite are they serving Alcohol in the Suite lounge.

My understanding is that the lounge does still serve drinks during happy hour.  (5:00-8:30?)

You are allowed to book if there are tables available.  Priority goes to Pinnacle and those in regular suites.

We had a junior suite on the 1st August Anthem Cruise, didn't manage to get into Coastal Kitchen as it was booked up with Suite guests.

You need to go and try and book dinner reservations (only) as soon as you embark.

And it may help if you are ok dining early or very late.  Early has always worked for us.

Hi we are on Anthem now and in a JS…. We’ve had no problem getting into coastal for dinner but please note you cannot book for the whole cruise immediately - they are asking us to book each day at a time…… bit of a pain but it’s worth it

Drinks between 4:30 - 8:00 in the suite lounge currently for suite guests only (GS and up)

We have a JS in October. Do you have to book on the app or actually go to the restaurant to book?

Hi not able to book on the app - first couple of days we wandered along at lunchtime to book for dinner…. Today we just phoned at breakfast opening time and they were happy to book us in..

No charge it’s the complimentary suite dining restaurant…. Menu changes every day except for the ‘classics’ which are available every day

Just curious...is Coastal Kitchen really worth it?  And have you ever spotted any solo cruisers dining there?   I usually book a JS, but have never dined in the Coastal Kitchen.

It was a nice change from MDR.  We only went when the menu was to our liking.

Agreed.  It's nice to be able to mix it up and have options.  That being said, make your reservations early.  It tends to fill up especially on cruises with a lot of Pinnacles.

Best time to book a table is around 11.30am

It's certainly worth trying at least once.  It's changed over time- but we still find it better than the MDR.  Especially as it's considerably quieter.
