Thank you.  I thought about that but would rather have the large overhang than almost none on the side cabins on 11.

It is relatively quiet.  The Aqua spa is above and occasionally hear some movement.  Not at all disturbing.

We were in 1138 for a couple of weeks on the Summit.  I loved the location but did not like hearing the movies and football playoff games above us.

It has been awhile since we sailed in on the aqua class aft cabins on the Millennium class ships, but I called guest services when it got too loud and they’d adjust the sound.

Please let us know when they start boarding.  We'll be there next week with a12:00 boarding time.  In order to board do you go into that building.  It looks like that building is for the other pier.

I miss the almond croissants already.  They are so yummy!

No kidding!

I don't know what Bo's problem is with them.  Our waiter personally assured us that all animal/dairy products and calories are released in the proprietary Celebrity baking process. 😄

I promise not to muck up Jim’s thread with my own food pics, but I got the Branzino at the Luminae lunch for the first time, and it was heavenly.  My new fave in place of the burger or lobster roll.

Feel free to continue posting.

It will give a good variety of the meals.   I of courses don't always remember to shoot a picture before my first bite and will not post a pictures of a partially eaten plate.

We were also at lunch in Luminae with some friends.     I gad the Luminae burger and Pear Clafoutis but forgot to take pictures.

I love the fish dishes quite a bit.

They started boarding exactly at 12:00 -    It may have been a little later than last week (11:30) because they had a mandatory test of the electrical systems on the ship and were tripping fuses in the test.  B2B were cautioned to avoid the elevators to assure we didn't get inconvenienced.

After lunch we came back to room.   Nice bouquet of flowers has men delivered.   Also had a bottle of bubbly and 4 bottles of win from various staff.  Really thankful for all the gifts.

Running out of counter space with tea kettle, cups and tea supplies set up.

The cold decor just isn't partticularly enticing to me.  I was only person there on Summit today.  I like my suite but the Sky Lounge has more appeal than the The Retreat.  Comfier furniture too (chairs have arms) and great view (sadly it's also empty).

I dug right into my ceviche appetizer before taking a picture, and I won't post one like that, either!  😁

Your flowers in a later post are just gorgeous.  What a lovely gesture.

I'll be honest:  I wasn't sure I wanted to take this trip, as I had to go solo and knew I would miss my family.  But the first person I saw was Retreat Host Toni, who gave me a huge hug in the waiting area, as we'd been with him to Alaska 6-7 weeks ago.  I've received several unexpected hugs since then from crew I knew from our prior trip, which makes me feel like this was the right decision.

There were quite a few Zeniths on the last cruise, are they now being admitted into the Retreat?

No -  Zeniths and other like high end Casino are still restricted.   It really was a bummer when we were in Aqua but understand for now.    We hope it will be reinstated soon.

On this cruise there are 12 Zenith's

We took your advice Jim and tried an Affogato right away. In all of our cruising had never had one before - delicious. 74B6E04E-56F6-4436-84A2-59B11CBD47A0.thumb.jpeg.9a153473c3823154219f41f5df7054f3.jpeg

I'm not sure which looks better,   your beautiful Lab or the treat.   We use to have a Golden that we lost a couple years ago.   I still have a fondness in my heart for Retriever's of all type.

We hope to meet you on the cruise - be sure and stop us if you see us. Henrietta would be happy to say hello.

Many people feel the same way but after being banished from Retreat while in Aqua it felt SO GOOD to be back in.    I actually love the interior much better than the old dark Michael's Club decor.   I can understand your feeling and would think you would really love the Edge Retreat which is very much like the Sky Lounge ---- All glass walls over looking helm of the ship.

Looks like there were many hugs going around.     I guess it can be as  safe as a hand bump if they are wearing masks.    The staff are probably safer than anyone we know as they are PCR tested ever 7 days and were just tested 2 days ago.   We probably won't be as careful of wearing masks on this trip since we have cleared for the B2B.    Having the booster and Flu shot make a lot of difference in my state of mind.

Glad you are aboard and stop us and introduce yourself if you see us.

I was very surprised by the hugs and certainly wouldn’t have initiated them, but I’m ok with it.  Completely understand if others wouldn’t be, though.  I’m not eligible for a booster but have my flu shot, too, and am not in any high-risk category.

I certainly hope I’ll run into you two!  (I won’t hug you, haha.)
