i've only sailed ncl and Celebrity.

i have 2 free Royal cruises from my land casino.

I have $350 off $1000.

 

I plan to book a b2b on Oasis sailing next year.

since it's free, i i only pay port fees/taxes.

Airfare (air2sea) is also probably cheap, if it's similar to Celebrity.

 

How much casino chips can i buy pre-buy per cruise?

(on celebrity, i can pre-buy $500 per cruise)

While checking my AMEX account for status of the Royal offers that I used, I saw that I had a new offer for Carnival brands "spend 1500, get 400 back".   May be for new bookings only?  I would love to take advantage of it to make a payment for our already booked Iceland/Greenland HAL cruise next summer.

Thanks -- we do.  Just added the offer to my husband's account.  He got $200 credit for spending $500 on Royal Caribbean -- the same as me.  I thought his would be more as he is the original card holder.  However, we have final payment coming due for our January cruise and it will be nice to get a $400 credit on our Amex card.  I already used Visa points to reduce the cruise fare by $500.  Glad I saw this thread and I'll keep checking offers as we have 4 more cruises booked after January.

wait.. if you dont add it to you list, it disappears from your offers?

Yes, I have heard this is the case.  They are in your list for a limited time until locked into your account by clicking on it.

We have received the $200 credit for each of the 3 500/200 offers for myself, DW and DS accounts.  Each appeared in less than a week.  I spent my $500 on cruise planner purchases, DW and DS used theirs to prepay grats for 5 upcoming cruises.  Love it when a plan comes together!

I added 145 offers to my cards and new offers have generated.  I received offers for Celebrity Cruises, SilverSea Cruises, NCL, Hilton and Marriott.  The RC promotion is no where to be found.  I want to be disappointed about my lack of luck with this promotion but I'm still hopeful even if it's unrealistic.

Its my understanding on the Royal offer is they have all been claimed .

 

It will be back again some time, you need to keep checking

How could they all be claimed?  Did Royal or Amex set a limit?  How would anyone know this and the limit?

Claimed as in moved to the saved section.

I have it saved but not used yet .

When I heard last week that it is no longer offered, I looked in my acct and it was still there in my saved section

I payed for my feb cruise and added gratuity to it to get it up to $1500 and got my credit. 
Now I have another saved American Express offer on my husbands card to use for our March cruise. I added gratuity to it but it is not at $1500. So if I have one transaction at $1300 and another one at $250 for miscellaneous Royal planning I guess I will be alright. It did say it did not have to be 1 transaction. I hope it works.

Long as you have it saved in your wallet or what ever they call it , it is good unless it expires .

I had two different transactions to get to my spend limit, and it worked just fine.
