I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we have consumed a number of the Luminae lobster rolls, and I have never had any indication/impression that the lobster meat was fresh -- even when on Canada/New England itineraries.

The OP is in a suite, thus she has suite dining.  The main dining room is not relevant.

I'm on the ship now. It's Eerly empty on the ship. Martini bar was empty and plenty of seats at the bar at 6:45pm. Aquaclass here and wanted to join my parents in Tuscan. The dining room was empty at 7pm.No issues eating with my parents at Tuscan. Service was top notch. Food was excellent. The branzino was perfectly prepared. Our dinner in Tuscan, a main dining room, was almost exactly the same experience we had 2 months ago at Rudi's Seagrill, the topnotch SPECIALTY RESTAURANT on Carnival's newest flagship, Mardi Gras. Shows you the difference between the two cruise lines.

We sailed the Edge the last week of July & 1st week of August. We never needed reservations at any MDR.

mac_tlc are WONDERFUL. My mother & I had the blessing of bumping into them on the Edge the 1st week of August & we just KEPT bumping into each other! Trying to find a time when we can sail together again!

The captain just did his 10am daily report. He announced no reported cases or suspected cases of covid, and he will do a daily update of this status. Our next port of call is Roatan which requires a ship sponsored tour to disembark the ship.

I’ll check out Eden. But they sure did a great job in the Oceanview Cafe!!!! I have over a dozen photos but here are a few.

It’s evening chic night. We actually had a picture taken for the first time in a long time. They have three special Halloween backdrops (as a green screen), so it should be interesting to see the final product.

I am told that even if you are Aqua or Retreat, you can still eat in the 4 MDR if you want to.  I believe it is relevant.
