Concierge Lounge vs Diamond Lounge (and drinks)

Concierge Lounge vs Diamond Lounge

I am a Diamond and will be sailing in a suite.

As a Diamond Member I will get 4 drink vouchers on my card every day of the cruise. 🍸🍸🍸🍸

If I get a drink in the Diamond Lounge they will use one of my vouchers. 🍸

What about the Concierge Lounge?

I believe the suite/concierge lounge will have a  limited variety of drinks and only for a few hours each evening .  If the menu suits you then you can drink the complimentary drinks in the concierge lounge  and use your Diamond  drinks elsewhere around the ship.

Some suite lounges have an added benefit of beer/wine from 11am-11pm.

Personally, I prefer the Diamond Lounge and/or getting my complimentary drinks at the venue of my choice.  Over the years I have found the Concierge Lounge more crowded and louder, which makes a conversation difficult without shouting.

To each his own, but I'm happy with a wee dram in a more convivial atmosphere.

I have read that if you sail in a suite ( not a junior ) you can get as much beer and wine that you want  from 11 am to 11 pm at no additional charge in the concierge lounge.

And all the bottled water and expresso that you want .

I am sailing in a suite next year so i cant verify this just yet .

The beer, wine, water and soda is only on the Oasis class and maybe the Quantum class ships. On the smaller ships the Concierge lounge only has drinks between 5 and 8:30. All of the ships have an espresso machine in the Concierge Lounge.

Since it has been so long, I have forgotten what if any perks you get from a Jr. Suite.

the only one I remember is dinner in Coastal Kitchen.  You can visit the concierge lounge, which may or may not exist on any ship????

I think that is it?

Just got off the Allure on a crown loft.  They do have free soda all the time at the bar, they just hand you cans, they also have a nice coffee machine, I got macchiatos there on the regular.
