Mid-Cruise Test to Visit Coco Cay?

Recommended Posts

Does this mean all passengers on a ship that visits Coco Cay toward the end of the cruise (Like we will on the 1/16 Harmony cruise) will have to be tested mid-cruise?

Some are saying it does not apply to cruises. Time will tell.

I’m guessing we won’t know until the first ship goes to CocoCay and we start hearing reports, or until/unless Royal releases a new protocol statement.  I wouldn’t automatically assume CocoCay falls under this requirement, since it is a private island and won’t impact the overall Bahamian population.

We are prepared for anything (shows, ports, etc.) to be cancelled due to COVID.  But we naively assumed those cancellations would not include Coco Cay.  We have purchased a pass to the Beach Club and were really looking forward to it.

If you look at the web address of the announcement, it is for AVIATION-statement.

It's definitely confusing and the only mention of cruise passengers on the Bahamas tourism website refers to cruises that originate in and return to the Bahamas.

Anthem should be there today.    Let's find out if they were allowed to dock.

Anthem was in Nassau yesterday.  Someone on FB posted a pic from NorthStar stating they were docked there.
