Never mind, you got those. I think the only thing you're missing is Craft Social. I see the drink menu photos but are there photos of the actual bar? Did I miss those?

I have been there but will get some additional pictures!

Wow thank you so much!!!  I will have to see if we can fit all that good food in.  We are looking forward to the Extravaganza at Oceanview!

It's so hard to fit in all the wonderful food choices.  It would be nice to do either a TA or B2B to have more time.

Day 4

When you turn left you can make your way to the craft market and downtown.  I have to say that again the locals are very aggressive and very pushy and it got to the point where we felt a little uncomfortable and wanted to scream stranger danger because a guy kept following us giving us unsolicited tips and then ask for money.  So if you turn left once you exit the compound be warned!!!

Day 4

We are adventurous so we walked outside the gate.  I have to say that the locals here are aggressive and pushy and they like to follow you to try to sell you until you give them the firm NO.

The area outside the Belize port was "interesting" on our last visit. Saw a local pinned against a fence by the local authorities. We did our excursion, but otherwise didn't venture outside that port area.

Some areas farther away from the port looked pretty nice.

Rules for thee but not for me on the Apex right now.  I’m not really a believer in masks or the vaccine and booster I got but I do respect the rules that they ask you to abide by.

If I have to wear a mask, why doesn’t everyone including the bridge staff? Shouldn’t their health be most important as if there is a Covid breakout, who drives the ship and keeps the passengers safe? Seems hypocritical that these fine officers don’t think the rules are important enough for them to follow.

I watched from my balcony earlier this morning. It went on for more than just a few minutes.

We just cannot see it (well designed blended in one's face to look like a normal person).

Day 4

BennyBrun, one of the best, most informative and visually interesting threads since March 2020.  👍

Some live shots, which I know you try to avoid capturing people, look really desolate and pauses into a Stephen King Langoliers' moment.  🤣  But that's fine.

So much so, and we are so impressed with the Edge and Apex (everything, design, staterooms, Retreat, dining quality, Solarium, etc.) that we have reconsidered our lifetime (remaining 😉) planned avoidance of Celebrity (after cruising numerous Solstice Class ships we had the most terrible treatment on a 12N SC we just said 'never again').

Thanks.

And continue......

Thank you so much.  I have to tell you that only a few shots I am trying to avoid people most of the shots with the exception of embarkation day, the ship is really that empty but please take into consideration that we are sailing with 1065 passengers.  The service has been phenomenal. We resumed cruising in September on NCL EPIC, then RCL Odyssey then Celebrity Summit, the Carnival Mardi Gras then Celebrity Apex… the service on Celebrity can not be questioned compared to the other lines we have sailed with. We are like spoiled children on this ship but well behaved 😂

Day 4 Belize

After about 60 minutes of local port area Belize we are done!!!  My advice skip the downtown tour because we heard lots of negative things mostly about nothing to see.  Don’t walk around on your own too far outside the compound.  Opt for the nature / boat excursions and book through the cruise line.

Oh it’s not that I don’t want to say, it’s because I don’t know yet but I will ask someone and get back to you!

I can tell you we saw the forward doors by the theater had the signs off limits when we got onboard and did our own tour of the ship. We quickly went up a level when saw the sign.

so far we’ve heard 4 people in quarantine and the following day “the number went up”. No other info, we just keep to ourselves and try and distance as much as possible.

Thank you for the information.  I know that we lost a neighbor the second day.  There were luggage on embarkation and key in the slot then the next day there were excursion tickets.  The excursion tickets are still in the a lot as of today.

I would like to pause and ask the your thoughts on attire at the casino.  I don’t dress well but I still would put on shorts and a shirt to go to the casino.  I would not sit and play in my robe on the APEX.  I don’t think people would like to be accidentally flashed 😂

Sorry I'm a little confused, so deck 3 forward by the theater, but doors that were between the theater and cabins? Looking at the deck plans there really aren't identified doors forward on deck 3 before the theater.
