Can't purchase Medallion Net on app?

I've been trying all night to purchase the multi device, entire voyage plan on the medallion class app. To no avail. I have tried three different credit cards. I keep receiving this failure message that my credit card number inputted might be wrong. I talked with my credit card company and they say there is no error on my bank's part. I don't know what to do. 

 

Has anybody experienced this before on the app? Will I be able to still receive the same pre-purchase price when I get on board? Is there any other way to pre-purchase internet other than through the app? Thank you for everybody's help!

I had the same issue. I tried the chat function and they were not able to help me, after telling me log out, try another card, etc,… I called my Princess vacation planner and she was able to do it for me. 
if you don’t use one, you could call customer service and they will also do it for you. 
I’ve heard you can still get the reduced price on the boarding day only, but I’m not sure.

I had managed to do this in December; however, I wish I hadn't. When you get onboard and connect for the first time, it asks you if you want to upgrade, even if you have already upgraded. It did not see that I had already paid for it before the cruise. I got charged twice, but they took the additional charge off at guest services. So, for me next time, I'll just do it onboard.

I'm sailing tomorrow and haven't been able to get in touch with anybody from Princess. Hopefully I am able to still get the good price when I board tomorrow. I have taken screenshots of the error message.

I can't even find where to try to order Medallion Net on the App... 🙄  - #worseappever  I see "Dine My Way" - doesn't work... I see "Manage Drink Packages" (have to go online through website)... Nothing under "Ocean View" I can see for Internet...  Can't believe it would be under "Ocean Casino" right?

I was able to purchase a 1 device plan this morning. Screen looked just like this. Possibly silly question, but have you added a credit card to your setup for this cruise? I already had mine added in in the travel checklist, and the internet purchase went right through.

From the home screen, scroll down and find MedallionNet. It's in the top, OceanReady Profile section just below Safety Essentials. Click that and you can begin the process.

Then it goes to the "Journey View" box.

Well, that sucks, doesn't it? I've got five items, with MedallionNet being the third one down. Are you iPhone or Android, and are you running the latest version of the app? I'm Android with latest version.

Bummer! I honestly wasn't expecting it to work for me, since I've seen people saying it hasn't worked for them. Thought I'd give it a shot and was surprised when it was successful.

I had the same problem. Called Princess & they did everything for me.

I think they're updating the Medallion app to fix the bug. During the past few days, I was trying to purchase the internet package but always got the payment error message - very frustrating. 

 

Today I deleted the app and reinstalled it with the latest version. Then I tried to make the purchase again and the payment went through successfully! They must have fixed the bug in the latest version. I'm so happy now.

Most apps check for updates automatically and download them.

 

It appears that the Princess app does not do that.

I had the problem with a Chase card, but it worked with a Citibank card.

The Princess WiFi price is scheduled to increase on Feb. 20, 2023, for bookings made on or after Dec.13. Single device plan goes to $15 a day and the four device plan to $40 per day.  Yikes.  Currently the single device plan is $10 per day and $15 a day for the four device plan.
