HAL airport transfer in Fort Lauderdale - use for rental car?

We plan to rent a car at the Ft. Lauderdale airport after our cruise. Would the HAL airport transfer drop us off by the rental car facility? Or should we get a cab/uber?

I have not used HAL airport transfer in FLL, but taxi's are lined up outside the terminal with little or no waiting.  After our January 2022 cruise we took a taxi to the airport for $20+tip - cheaper than uber and no waiting.

Rental car facility is attached to Terminal 1, so you whether you taxi or use cruise transfer you can get off at exact same stop as folks flying Southwest. I would definitely taxi rather than use HAL transfer. It is less than thirty bucks and you do not have to wait for a bus to fill up.

Uber or taxi unless you want to take a tour/transfer.  I haven't found a tour/transfer in Fort Lauderdale that I could recommend and I am a fan of tour/transfers.

If you rent from Budget they have a location just outside the port.  A van will pick you up at the terminal and take you to their office just outside the port gate - then when done you can drop it off at the airport.  We do this going the other direction.

Just did this off the Nieuw Statendam a week ago today. Cab is a standard $17. Gave him a $20. So easy. No waiting either. Was off the ship and at the counter in the airport within 15 minutes. Went back to pick up the rest of my party. No time at all. They will drop you where you drop off a car. 

I would do the taxi because then you will get there before anyone else off the ship.
