Hi All!

Checking in again...

Anyone just sailing notice if Luggage Valet is being offered yet?

Holland is offering it and yes I realize I asked this question last month.

Fingers crossed....  Hoping and wishing.

Cheers!

🥂

And move your cruise until next year.

Or move your cruise to Seattle....

Many people don't realize that this is not a service owned by Celebrity.  There is another party involved and I suspect a goal is profitability.

Princess EZ Check, which is the same type of offering as Celebrity’s Luggage Valet, is being offered at Port Everglades. We just used it a week ago (2/12) on Sky Princess. EZ Check has been available for a few weeks now, so I hope Luggage Valet starts soon as there seems to be no real reason to not have it again (IMO).

Luggage forwarding and luggage valet are two separate things.

Luggage forwarding is to get your luggage from your home to the ship. Go to the Seaborn thread to read about that and one traveler’s problems with it.  That’s not what we are talking about here.

Luggage Valet goes from the ship to your home airport.

You get special luggage tags while you are on the ship, you put your luggage out as usual the night before you disembark and the next time you see it is when you pick it up at your home airport.

When ships are sailing at 30% capacity, it may not be profitable at this juncture.  You may see it when the numbers rise to around 75% or more is my guess.
