Yes, I bought one from Costco.  Only to find out that they recommend you disconnect every so many weeks, start engine, repeat.  Nope.  Disconnecting works the best.  But how do you do it in public parking?

Your Costco thingy must have been different from my neighbor's doodad. He left his car for 6 months at a time with no issues.

In a public parking lot, just lift the hood, pull the doodad and away you go...just don't lose it.🤣

Because there are less people on this cruise there is only one show at night. Also the pastry shop is closed. The deserts are in the main buffet.

Thanks for all the info!  We're embarking in 2 wks.  Do they still have the coffee bar (specialty coffees) in the buffet area or will we need to go Deck 5 and the IC?  I'd hate to take the stairs up for breakfast to just have to go back down for our morning caffeine buzz! 🙂

Hi all on board the beautiful Regal! Just curious how many on board this week and if there is an estimate of how many for next week.  Also- how has availability of the Sanctuary been? We were supposed to be on this week and next but had to cancel this week 😞 We will be on next week and keeping fingers crossed for Sanctuary spots 🙂 Thanks and have fun!

We are not coffee drinkers but I did see something in the Horizon Court in the Pastry Shop where they may have been doing specialty coffees or something.  Actually because we have less people on this cruise the Pastry Shop has nothing but this. the pastries are all in the Horizon Court.

We were told this week there is about 1440 people and next week would be about 1200.  I was just talking with my next door cabin neighbor who is a part time travel agent and she said next week would be 900 and the week after even less.  then she said it goes up to 2000.  Don't know who is right.

We don't use the Sanctuary so can't answer.  Sorry.

I am hoping its the sailing on the 7th that is "even less" and not "up to 2000". We got a super price but I am worried a tiny bit about Spring Break.

I can’t even begin to imagine what the ship will be like with only 1200 on it let alone 900!

I’m thinking the 2000 could be the TA as it is going to Europe in March.

Me too assuming that is correct. It only came from someone in the cabin next door who is a part time TA.

I’ll find out and let you know next week.  It’s been great to follow along on your sailing.

Onboard Regal right having left 2 19.

One nighttime show so far and we would not stay as it was wall to wall people.

Have to laugh as we are told to social distance in ports.

Nightly there are musicians in the bars, where maybe it is hoped you buy a drink.

There are 4-5 musicians that rotate the piazza and bars

I look at the Patter and see a trend of nothing of interest.

The day has knitters and knatters every AM! This reflects the level of activity.

MUTS are the same as stateroom options.

Overall, activities are lacking and our stateroom movies help.

Had I known that Princess would scale back so far, I would have cancelled or asked to reschedule.

We have a suite and even that does not make any difference. The service in the Suite/Elite lounge was so bad we left. Did they care? No!

So sorry for this experience as our previous sailings were magical.

There is a serious lack of adult leadership needed here.

I think it is time to rethink our next cruise and unlikely it will be Princess

Thank you for that.  Is there anything else in the International Cafe besides coffee?

The International Cafe in the morning has a few breakfast items plus pastries.  After breakfast it has some sandwiches and salads  (I saw Waldorf and shrimp with fennel) along with desserts.

Yes the international cafe has breakfast foods such as yogurt donuts and sandwiches.  For the rest of the day there is sandwiches small salads and pastries it is open 24 hrs. They also have quiche and I believe soup as well cookies are behind the line so you have to ask what kind they have

Last night I asked the people who let you into the Concerto dining room if the dress code has changed because we saw a few people come in (I saw at least 😎 wearing shorts. I was told that they "stretch" the dress code on 1st and last day AND on port days.  Never heard of port days before.  I don't know if this is from Princess or just this ship.

On the 2/12 sailing we saw a man escorted into dining room in shorts but only after they asked him (and waited for) to remove his baseball cap.

Today was Belize.  We did not go ashore but spent it as a sea day.  This afternoon we changed cabins.  The Feb 12 cruise I had no problem.  This cruise, where we had to change cabins, I have been bitten on both hands, my neck and my arm.  Not bed bug bites.  dh never gets bitten.  I decided that I didn't want to put up with it any longer.  I don't know why I am being bitten but I do know the cabin we moved into had people who were slobs and our previous cabin I got no bites.  This was stated by our cabin steward.  He said he needed help cleaning it up!  Maybe they brought bugs, who knows?  Anyways there was an empty cabin two doors down.  I hope this one is better.

Tonight is "formal" night... or as the patter says "dress to impress".  Ross Martin is going to perform.  Even though we saw him last week we will watch again.  He is that good.

We play a lot of trivia. and win.  Guido calls us the trivia mafia.  One player has an incredible memory and comes up with most of the answers.
