pjhootch Posted February 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2022 Carnival can't get their phones answered and can't get their website working. Cannot believe it is even worse than Disney's website which is a cluster on the best day. I apparently cannot GIVE them $$. I am amused as well as irritated since our cruise is in a week. famof4togo Posted February 24, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2022 I've been trying to get on their site for like 3 hours without success as well. It happens, I am sure it will be resolved soon.
Luv2Cruze4 Posted February 24, 2022 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2022 the system and website are both down right now -hence the backlog in calls. We just got off the phone with them. They are working on it.
Rare Oceansaway17 Posted February 24, 2022 #4 Share Posted February 24, 2022 on the plus side RCI is working fine. but I feel for you all being on the phone a long time. American airlines can be a joy too. NOT
Bgcruising Posted February 24, 2022 #5 Share Posted February 24, 2022 All of my cruises have been removed. I'm hoping I dont have to enter them all manually, I might forget a couple.
tallnthensome Posted February 24, 2022 #6 Share Posted February 24, 2022 You haven't seen anything until you use the MSC cruises website.
Rare BlerkOne Posted February 24, 2022 #7 Share Posted February 24, 2022 I think we can expect a variety of disruptions based on current events. Another new normal for a while.

I had a cruise booked with MSC a few years ago and their site was a pain back then, but manageable for what I needed. I don't need to call in right now, but Carnival has had phone problems for weeks, not just today. I know Carnival's website is clunky and has frequent glitches. It also doesn't care much for Chrome when I am trying to make payments, or Safari when I am trying to look up my VIFP/Casino offers. ROFL. I am antsy today because I want to take care of booking a couple of excursions for next week and be done with everything. Not an emergency- just a frustration. ProgRockCruiser Posted February 24, 2022 #12 Share Posted February 24, 2022 Keep in mind there is probably a lot of behind-the-scenes cyber attacking going on right now, and that makes pretty well everything online a bit more fragile, even just due to collateral damage or major content server disruptions or DNS hack re-writes.
