Haven Room Service First Night

We’re booked a Breakaway AFT Haven Suite leaving out of New York around 5:30. We usually have dinner between 5-6. We were thinking about having the butler deliver us dinner on the balcony so we can watch the Yew York skyline as we pull out and go past the Statue of Liberty and go out to sea.

Anyone ever setup for room service from the butler on the first night?

Sounds like a great idea and totally doable. Just connect with your butler when you first get onboard and tell them what time you are planning to have dinner.  (You'll want to schedule it for when the Haven Restaurant is open so you'll have great food vs. food from the regular room service kitchen/menu.

We are in a haven aft penthouse on Breakaway in about a month. We are traveling with a 2 year old so we will be having dinner (and breakfast for that matter) every day in our suite. I let the Concierge desk know about this in advance and am obviously going to let them know at embarkation as well. My expectation is not to be served “by course” though. Rather we would just like everything brought at the same time so we aren’t tying them up for an extended amount of time the entire cruise.

No problem at all. You should order through your butler and order off the Haven Menu (which will be on your app).

👍🏻That is our plan! Planning on some Surf/Turf on our balcony while we sail down the Mississippi River.

We definitely will ask for everything at the same time. We usually don’t eat dessert right after dinner so we may have something delivered later.

Exactly this. Specify you want food from Haven restaurant.
Only exception may be food for 2 year old.

You can ask for nuggets, Mac and cheese, fruit cups , cereal etc from the Kids Club buffet.
