Promo offer different for me and wife

So wife and I both have the OV7 offer which is "up to $750 off, with $500 OBC".  I was doing a few mock bookings for 2 rooms, spliting my wife and I with the 2 kids.  Turns out her offer has a lot less sailings offered under the code than mine.  Particularly she can't get the deal at for any cruise in May 2022 and I have lots of options.  Anyone ever seen this before?  I thought the offers were standard under the same rate code?

My husband and I always get different offers. I do mock bookings with both accounts and book under the one with the best offer.
He was getting offers with $500 OBC and I was getting offers with $50.

that's not what I was asking.

Their answer sure seemed pretty relevant to me. Their offer can vary based on marketing. One may get better offers for various reasons, such as: amount/time spent playing in casino; who does the majority of booking, and spending patterns onboard.

I was getting better offers than the Mrs. previous to covid crashing the party, since the restart, they have mostly been the same. I also checked a family members account and they had different offers that even I didn't have. They had much lower rates and much longer time periods, all the way to 2024 in some cases. Seems to be no rhythm or reason, though I suspect they are targeting folks who don't have any set bookings with better offers, especially those who have not sailed since the restart. That said, the standard offers should be the same terms and availability, anyone can get those and they should be the same across VFIP accounts, specific targeted rate offers may not and can very from VFIP to VFIP.

I generally get better offers across more sailing dates and ships than the other half.  We usually use my offers when booking.

In our case, I've sailed way more times, often solo, sometimes with a nephew, so I assumed our offers would be different based on our histories.

My husband and I booked 2 cabins side by side for us and our girls. One was under his name and the other was under my name. Both cabins had the same offer code but the offers varied. It’s weird that it’s the same code but not the same exact offer. But I see it often with Carnival

ok let me ask this again.  My wife and I have the SAME OFFER, OV7 rate code.  So different offers under VIFP is not the question.

What I am asking, is it normal, under the SAME offer, that the availability of which cruises you can book is different?

Specific example being, I mocked booked a cruise in May 2022.  Under my OV7 offer the cruise I want is available.  Under my wife's SAME OV7 offer, that cruise is not available.

Normal? No. Capacity controlled and limited availability? Sometimes. So the answer is: not normal but entirely possible. Try a mock booking with no VFIP and see what deals pop up, if the lower rate/availability are the same for the general public, it should be available to her as well. If you are getting a lower offer after entering the VFIP, it's likely you simply have landed squarely into the "entirely possible" camp. I've had same offers give a further discount to kids based on having two cabins with different configurations of kids in each cabin and different rates for the respective VFIP. I thought it strange too but have seen it myself but it must have something to do with cabin demand and capacity configuration of the respective cabins within a category. Hope that makes sense.

Does she usually book under her name as lead guest for offers?

I'm almost exclusively lead guest when I cruise with my husband OR my two girlfriends, and I've noticed that as we started booking things for end of the year and into spring of next year, my dates are non-existent but they've got offer availability on almost everything sailing we're considering.

We have had that happen.  He gets a wider range of options with the same offer.
