We have a couple of grand suites leading up to Christmas ,Tassie and cairns. If  we loose them ,we are not going to be happy.

I just went through all their ships and deployment and nothing seems to have a potential to replace Radiance.

Though Serenade seems to have a hole in it’s bookings.

We had a grand suite for the transpacific. None left on Ovation. There are some JS and they are so much more expensive than what we got the GS for. Also interesting to see that the Quantum transpacific also got taken down yesterday and is still missing.

I just wonder what is happening? I guess we will know soon.

I’m starting to think they can see the writing on the wall .

Lets get out of Australia while we can get some bookings in the big easy.

I'm surprised they'd pull Radiance from down under for NOLA.  They struggled to fill Majesty and Vision there pre-pandemic.  They became mostly casino comps.

There has to be another puzzle piece about to be dropped on the game board.

If they move Radiance to NOLA, they’ll just call it a repositioning, cancel previous bookings and offer no compensation. Been there, got the Tshirt.

They would be mad to not give us a replacement. Pretty much every cruise from the end of October to mid April were almost booked out

Someone on social media has received their email - Radiance is going to Galveston and New Oreleans Oct 2022 - April 2023

So disappointing. Can't get the same standard of room on Ovation. Looks like we might have to a land based holiday in Hawaii because flights and accommodation are already booked.

Bayley continues to hide behind Covid.  This is the SECOND time they have done this to us in 2 months.

What options were you offered on the previous cruise that was cancelled in these circumstances?

NOTHING ABSOULUTELY NOTHING was offered to us when they canceled 4 February 2022 cruises on Serenade a few weeks before we were scheduled to sail.  Oh, they said we'll give you 125% FCC that you can't use for Symphony with the same dates.  RCI just flipped us off, and said BTW the GS you booked on Serenade is 50% more expensive on Symphony and you can't keep the same cabin for all four cruises.

How is Navigator going with bookings?

I had a bit of a look at some of the ships and the likely ships to replace Radiance maybe Serenade or Navgator.

I’m betting it won’t be replaced.
Hope I’m wrong.

That's horrible treatment when it's all out of our control. I'm going to take the money and book another cruise line.

Unfortunately,your probably right.

I can’t really blame them from the way our government has treated them.

For the last 2 years our government has just given them the cold shoulder.

No information,no feedback and their ships have been just floating around.

This has nothing to do with the government.

Yes, the CDC is totally out of control, but this is Bayley.

I think you are right. They are saying they will price protect as long as you are within the same category and there is only a 1 night difference. For the transpacifics they were all different, Radiance was 16 nights, Quantum is 18 and Ovation is 19 so they will get out of price protection.

This has nothing to do with the government.

Chilliburn was referring to the Australian Government who has treated the cruise industry with contempt since March 2020.

Princess Cruises also pulled Royal Princess last week out of the Australian 22/23 season.

The local TAs can't take a trick. A cruise restart is announced and two companies cancel ships.
