Casino Offer Free Drinks Everywhere

I tried doing a search, lots of info, but not about this question.  Has anyone recently cruised with this offer?  If so, when you first ordered a drink, did the computer recognize the offer like it does when you purchase CHEERS?  I hate to email players club if someone here can answer.  Although they are very good at responding within 24 hours, sometimes they don't seem to understand what I'm asking - probably my fault as I'm not asking clearly.

 

I wondered if I need to bring email from players club verifying the offer or if it's working like a champ.

It was automatic and worked fine as soon as we boarded.

I can also confirm, we've had that offer in recent months and it works perfectly.  All the info is on your card, but if you want a drink before you have a chance to get to your room and get your card, they can use your boarding pass to pull up the info on the computer too.

Thanks guys.  I figured it would work like CHEERS, but I've had a few times when I had to show documentation to casino cashier as they did not have my information on Free Play.  That was a couple of years ago, and it seems that they have got it together lately.  Just wanted to make sure since this is a fairly new offer (at least for me).

It works fine but different ports on embarkation until out to sea have different rules.  Miami was pay the sales tax while Galveston was no free drinks until out to sea

So I believe this is the offer I got when we booked. I say believe beacause I was very excited that we basically got a free room! I tried calling Carnival and explaining to whom I talk to and they can't find the casino rate that I used. Also every time they transfer me to which I believe is the Casino Depart. I'm on hold so long that I need to hang up. I'm trying to see if my companion qualifies as well. Rather than us buy Cheers.

Just read the offer it will say right in there if its just for you, for you and a companion, only while playing in casino or everywhere on board.

Well Thats what I dont remember, If it said that or not. And trying to get hold of anyone in the players club is well definatly not the easiest thing. Apprently they are the ones who can see the casino booking rate that I booked. According to the last 2 people at carnival I spoke to.

I have this offer on a few cruises this year. One of them leave from NY , does this not kick in until day 2 like cheers ?

I had assumed, from prior offers, that the "drinks everywhere" (CHEERS) was only applicable on Elite sailings. Is that not the case? If not, I think I need to petition them for an extra perk, lol

I can't say for sure in New York (haven't been out of that port) but in Galveston CHEERS is not available until day 2, but DOU Anywhere is available as soon as you board.  There has been so much discussion about this that we went straight to the bar, asked them to run our card, and confirm for us (and they are happy to do that).

No there are other casino offers that include drinks everywhere on the ship. Some are for two, some are just for one. The offers are called: Jackpot Deal and Plan Now, Play Later.

We booked a casino package also but it doesn’t say it on my booking information about the free drinks while in casino. How do I find out before I am on the ship? I was told by carnival travel agent who booked our cruise,  it will be on our players card.

Every time I emailed the casino club, usually about two or three days I will get a response.

The "free drinks everywhere in the ship" is only for the person who receives the offer unless your partner/husband or whomever has the same offer.

 

I have booked my last 2 cruises with this offer and my husband had the same offer.  I emailed the casino as stated by lubedodedo to confirm that he would get the offer as well.  I took a screenshot of the email I received confirming that he would get the free drinks just in case there was an issue.  There was not.

 

Some of the casino offers will specifically state that it is drinks included in the casino (only) for you and a companion.

Wow... I would be booking quickly if I was offered this Jackpot Deal! This is an amazing offer, wonder if it is limited only to a handful of cruises.

I actually have one for the Celebration NYE cruise this year.
