Luggage Valet restart?....Good question for Captain's Corner on board. :-)

Would be so appreciative if a cruiser on the Allure would ask when the Luggage Valet program will restart.  Have contacted Royal via email with no response as of yet.  We're hoping when we disembark on May 22, this would be in place. 

 

Have read of places to leave luggage, but unsure of how feasible that is.  Would also appreciate if anyone has any info on that.

My understanding is if that is a service through a given port rather than cruise line specific (at least that’s what we were told by the suite’s Concierge on the Symphony last November).

That is so in Seattle where the city of Seattle pays for the service.

We almost always sail from FL - it was the Port Everglades port where the concierge stated this. Can only assume they knew the facts. Hope it is up and running again before long regardless. 😊

Normally Seattle through the city and Port Everglades and Canaveral through Royal.  Haven't seen any evidence it has restarted yet,though.

Hope so, it is a nice option (and free for suites). The only downside is when we pick up luggage it is easier to keep a bag of last morning toiletries and cosmetics to add into the luggage at the port.
