For anyone who has sailed NCL recently, how many boxes of water do you get as a Latitude member?  The website said 1 carton (for gold), how many individuals boxes are in the carton and what is the size of each box?

Thanks in advance.

The water comes in a paper carton (like milk) instead of a plastic bottle. 1 box is the same as 1 carton.

It seems to be inconsistent.  I am Diamond and in the first week of a recent back to back there were two 500mL cartons.  On the second week there were none at first then when I asked (twice!) I received 4 cartons that were each 1L.

There was also a larger-sized carton in the fridge for sale for $5 but I don’t pay for water!

1 carton of water.

The number of carton seems somewhat random. We’re suppose to get a couple of cartons each.

It looks that the website lists 1 carton for gold for gold/platinum and 2 for anything above that.

Now it clearly states that it’s per member. So a couple of Diamond members with the should get 4 bottles.

i find this milk carton water dreadful, with a chemical after taste.

just me?

Wasn't a huge fan myself.  Miss when they would be in regular plastic bottles.  Yes, I know that these paper ones are better for the environment, but just based on taste the plastic taste better

To clarify - if a water package is ordered is the water in plastic bottles or in the milk cartons? Just wondering if the reward level complimentary water is in boxes or all water purchases on the ship. Tx!

water package is the same cartons, there is no more plastic bottles

Water package comes in 1 L containers. The Latitudes ones are .5 L, from what I have seen.

aqua panna and pellegrino sparkling water in glass bottles is available for purchase at some bars and venues; availability varies. those bottles are "free" with the premium plus drink package or a "premium drinks" casino player card. they are not included with the standard "free at sea" drinks package.

On our march cruise on the Breakaway, I did feel the rewards service was inconsistent. We only got one carton of water, but later learned NCL did not link my wife's reservation to her Latitudes account. We did get that straighten out at the Latitudes desk and asked to get another carton, but didn't come. But we did get two Gold Latitudes pins. We also never got our invite to the Latitudes reception.

The Latitudes Reception invite is posted in a plastic frame at the Latitudes Desk. You’ll never see it unless you happen to stop by the desk. The invite is also posted in the daily newsletter. It says Latitudes Reception (Silver and above) and then the time and location. However, again, it’s inconspicuous. I just happened to glance at it.

1 carton = 1 box = 1 bottle.  Just bring a refillable water bottle with you and fill it up at the buffet as needed.  No need to pay for the hype of bottled water.

I get why it's practical to have the water bottles/cartons, but they don't exactly contain Evian spring water... it's just "filtered water" (basically the same as what comes out of the ship's taps).

I personally bring a refillable bottle and top it up with my stateroom's tap.  To each their own of course.

It is actually spring water. It says it on the carton. I believe it is from a spring somewhere in NY.

Is it really?  Cool, I learned something new today. 👍

I had pre-ordered the 12 liter package months before my cruise on the Pearl on June 10th.  At the time of ordering, I was expecting a 12 liter plastic container with a nozzle of filtered water.  I was happy to find 20 one liter cartons of spring water.  There was a note saying that it was gift. (I found the water under the gift section on the website.)  We also had the 2 half liter containers as well.  The water tasted fine and we went through all of the water that we had as my 28 year old son and his cousin spent a good portion of the cruise either working out or playing basketball.  So they were always thirsty.
