Name your Carnival cruise deal

Recommended Posts

All Casino offers

My Australia offers have been as much as $2000 in free play, balcony cabin and drinks everywhere for both of us.

Caribbean (E or W) are usually something like $500, Balcony and drinks everywhere for one and most are drinks in casino (deal breaker for me)

Europe, have an Aft Balcony booked, (I believe) $500 in FP and also drinks everywhere for myself.

I am super jealous of those of yall basically getting offers for almost free Europe cruises.  I want to know how yall get those!  Is it through the casino?

I was looking at cruises through a well known cruise site, 2 weeks ago - saw Balcony cabin on the Pride $180 out of Dover UK,  9 days Northern Europe, booked it and then saw that the ship does a back to back, Dover to Rome 12 days for the same price $180.  Booked that one too.

Great pricing.  What are the dates?

I'm cruising to Alaska on the Spirit in July. The deal was advertised as $35 per person for an interior but I upgraded to a balcony for around $135 per person (same price as an ocean view) with $200 on board credit. All in with taxes, fees, and gratuities it was around $775 for 2 people. My husband had a deal for $25 per person and free drinks in the casino earlier this year, but this Alaska promo is the best one I've personally gotten.

My husband's was a casino offer of course, but mine was not. I don't gamble.

I'm already booked solid into 2024, with 6 more in 2022 and 12 for 2023.  Plus airfare across the pond can be very tricky, especially booking a cruise under 6 months out.

Same cruise regardless of where the deal came from and I didn’t see where op didn’t want to see casino deals.

Casino deals are a totally different animal since they are targeted to gamblers.  John Q Public can't get those deals.  Geographically targeted deals from Carnival are very similar since those who reside near the west coast get rock bottom pricing on Panorama, Radiance and Alaska sailings.  I get Aussie deals only, but I assume that everyone from coast to coast get them.

Btwn DH and I we have a 13 day transatlantic interior from Portugal to Tampa this October for port taxes and fees. Then we have basically a B2B on the Dream in an a interior for port taxes and fees in Feb. I did upgrade for I believe it was a total of 80 to get a spa interior. It also includes drinks in the casino. Total for the 2 weeks was just under 900 so I didn't think that was that bad especially for 14 days.

I'm sailing solo on a 12-night Scandinavian/Baltic cruise, in an 8K extended "bowling alley" balcony, for $550.

The taxes, fees, and port charges ($290) were more than the cruise fare ($260).

That might be the cabin/cruise I cancelled.
