Ketchikan free downtown shuttle?

Is the free shuttle running this year? Would like to go to Totem Bight from the cruise port.

If you are at Ward Cove T/B is only about a 10 min city $2 bus ride and downtown is 20 min each way out of the way. If you are downtown I was never aware that there was a free shuttle to T/B. sightcrr

I agree with @SightCRR -- I am not aware of a free shuttle to Totem Bight either.  Folks have used the Ketchikan bus system from downtown to Totem Bight.  

 

In the past there was a free shuttle in Ketchikan which took off-duty crew members to the local Walmart.

There was a Walmart shuttle running today in Ketchikan, from berth 4 where the Ward Cove shuttles were dropping off/picking up.

There’s a FREE shuttle bus that runs from Berth #4 over to the Creek street area and up to the Totem Heritage Center, but not out to Totem Bright state park. Here are a couple of links that might be of some interest.

Love Tom’s port guide. Used him in Monte Carlo, and Spain, he really know his stuff. I already have his Alaska guides saved.

Everything I've read says the Ketchikan bus is running. It's not just for the tourists & only $5 all day. 

 

FWIW I loved Totem Bight. But going to Saxman Native Village this year for a bit of change. Also $5 bus & $5 entry donation
