Because the cruise lines have not cancelled their bookings. They announced as much when they announced they were going to reinstate the schedule page.

I have been on it as Golden Princess, also other Grand Class, Emerald, Ruby, Diamond and Sapphire and none of them can get under. Not that I mind White Bay, buy have booked a hotel near Circular Quay for a little 3 nighter next year. 

Embarkation by tender is a possibility. The ships of the Dam compass are as big as will fit (Noor, Ooster, Wester,  Zuider), and Vision class Royal would also fit on the same criteria (tidal clearance). Not a hope in Hades for Grand Class ships.

Less and less ships are using white bay.

 

Radiance is off to the Gulf of Mexico after Alaska and it doesn’t look like we will ever see it again.

A interesting thing Graham ovation has port bookings in Hawaii so it my be late coming here or may not come at all in 23-24.

Rarely used, but has been used before. They used to prefer Athol Buoy, but the Libs don't like Malcolm Turnbull and the want to blow some sulphurous black smoke up his ....

Great News.

 

The cruise schedule on the Port Authority of NSW website has now been updated to cruises up to 23rd June 2025.A lot of previous information has been updated , especially with regards to Royal Caribbean Cruises. Great to see a lot more ships have been added over this coming cruise season.

The agent is wilhelmen ship service.

Any speculation on the ship ?

I’t not enchantment of the seas but something else.

It could be the Norwegian ship and it’s not regent as it will go to white bay.

My guess is Disney. By then they should have a couple of new builds.

I tried to find out what agent they use but couldn’t find it.
By media reports they will definitely be coming next season.

There’s a few bookings for Norwegian spirit but not a lot.

Its not virgin as they use a different agent.

There was a booking in Hawaii for one of the Disney ships doing a stop but it has disappeared.

In Australia, Wilhelmsen pretty much is the shipping agent for anything that isn't a Carnival brand. It doesn't narrow it down much, except by eliminating the ones already named. 

 

Lots of unnamed ship for Royal too, but I figure that should be for Enchantment, so not all secrets are really secret. It would be nice to think it is something new. Apart from Disney, there could also be Genting planning something with one of the parked Dream Cruises ships.

Norwegian already have the Spirit here for 22-23 season , which, by the schedule, is going to White Bay, cannot see them bringing a second ship.

We are talking about 22-23 season  so if Disney were coming here there would be a lot more “ publicity” about it by now.

Looking at the latest version of this schedule, the only unnamed vessels are are all Viking Ocean Cruises.

So do you mean “this “ season 22-23 or “next”  season 23-24 ? 
Either way there can only be one ship at a time at the OPT and two at White Bay so hardly bursting at the seams. 🤔😁
