Carnival closing restaurants?

Saw this article on another cruise site: Says Cucina Del Capitano and Chef’s Table Temporarily Closed. True or False??

True. It was announced a couple of weeks ago that they would close temporarily due to staffing issues.

True through at least the end of June.  And they have adjusted hours for some locations (Deli is one that I remember off of the top of my head)  Not enough staffing at this time

Cucina is still open on sea days for lunch.

Most Carnival ships don't have a Cucina anyway.

I also saw on another place that they have eliminated the breakfast delivery cards for the moment? Total 1st world problem if that is true but that is one of my favorite things on a cruise… love filling out the card the night before and waking up to my fresh coffee and pastry delivery.

That is also true.  JH said that breakfast is still available from room service, but this eliminates the need to have employees going up and down the hallways looking for the cards.

It is a QR scanner now. We didn't use it, but I believe you just scan the code which lets you order in the HUB App and they'll bring it to you. Seems fine to me as it wastes less paper

They had been doing both (order on demand and the hanging cards you put out the evening before).  They have suspended the use of the hanging cards.
