What’s it currently like on the Regal? Just curious as there are no “Live from” threads

The medallion app has not been showing any availability in the Crown Grill… but I was able to make a reservation by calling.

Also last night the main dIning room menus were not on the app… at all.  they were there last week.  The main dining room was pretty quiet last night - I think the buffet was pretty busy though.

  • 2 weeks later...

We're on the Regal in July, from Athens to Rome, as one 2 week cruise.  I've never dealt with this 1 week leg thing that Princess does.  In Barcelona, where some people will disembark and others will embark, and some people continue... We want to get off the ship of course and explore like it's a normal port day, because for us it is.  Do we have to wait until those who are debarking are gone?  What time can we get off the ship?  Any help would be great!

You can get off the ship starting when the first passengers whose cruise has ended are leaving.

When  we return to the ship do we have to go through the embarkation procedure again or can we just walk through?

You will probably get the night before info which will include a little ticket that says "in transit".  You don't go through embarkation again.

You can just walk through, but you may have to wait until embarkation has started for new passengers, usually by noon.

Of course you still need to go through any security scanning the port has.
