What is the likelihood of a brunch event if ship docks at 11am?

Hi,

 

For those who have been on Azamara recently, did you have a port where you docked at 10:30, 11:00 or 11:30, and if you did, was there a brunch event on the ship that day instead of normal breakfast and lunch?

In Quest in May brunch in Discoveries was on a seaday. And we docked at 11 a.m. in Cartagena.

There was no brunch at all on the Journey cruise which disembarked on Sunday.

Hi,

on Pursuit last week we docked at 11am in Cartagena and no brunch was offered. We docked in Lisbon at 1:30pm and brunch was offered.

I think they are usually on sea days.  We had several on our March cruise on the Quest.

Buffet style with very nice food.

Yes nice food almost always served to you by officers. It’s a good chance to see and chat to some of the younger engineers and mariners you don’t usually meet as well.

We have been unlucky on recent cruises, first the uncertainly of Covid on Pursuit March 2020, then the lack of sea days on the Onward Maiden Voyage, so I’m hoping for at least one brunch on our upcoming Pursuit Iceland cruise. Brunch is my favourite shipboard meal. With or without jazz, although preferably with!
