kylenyc Posted June 14, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2022 After having the behinds the scenes ship tour and hearing them explain the ?reverse osmosis? they use, i stopped buying bottled water and don't even use the free bottles of water they give to latitudes members. I'm perfectly happy with their tap water. I wish my home tap water was even close.

We always drink "tap water" on ships. Tastes fine. Bring some refillable bottles, fill them in your cabin, put them in the mini-fridge, and there you go.

I bring a couple Nalgene bottles and an aluminum vacuum-insulated bottle and I'm good for a day of shore excursion.

It tastes like extravagance. It makes you feel like a million bucks and the irresistible urge to hit the casino and duty free shops. That's exactly what most bottles waters have. If you drank pure distilled water, you would think it tasted stale.
kochleffel Posted June 15, 2022 #10 Share Posted June 15, 2022 Rather unfortunate name for the brand, imo.

Of course, on day 5 some smart a$$ we didn't know had to ask why we were just now drinking the freebies. Some people's kids.....

Uff da Posted June 16, 2022 #15 Share Posted June 16, 2022 Well, hopefully it's cheaper. The cost of their current water packages are crazy.
