iujen94 Posted July 8, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2022 We are looking at booking a day pass for Margaritaville for our cruise next week. I've seen mentions of Resortpass on these boards - that is showing Margaritaville day passes sold out for our date, but the website Resort for a Day shows availability. Is Resort for a Day legit? Should I be worried that they are showing availability when Resortpass does not? Or do different companies just get different allotments of day passes to sell? Rare aggie182 Posted July 8, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2022 We used Resorts for a Day in Jamaica a few years ago and everything went as planned. We're using them again in a few weeks for Margaritaville in Nassau.
Asecert Posted July 8, 2022 #3 Share Posted July 8, 2022 We've used Resort for a Day in the past and had no issues at all. I do believe different vendors have different allotments for each property, so I wouldn't be worried.

Rare 1kaper Posted July 13, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 13, 2022 Yes. I bought my passes for Margaritaville there. If you contact Margaritaville directly they will send ou there ( I was suspicious as well)
NHNEV2003 Posted July 16, 2022 #6 Share Posted July 16, 2022 (edited) We've used Resort For A Day in the past and they are totally legit. As a matter of fact I had to cancel a booking during the pandemic and I received a refund to my credit card right away-no hassles. And-we went to Margaritaville last week--had a great day--lazy river is good as is the beach area. Not a bad walk from the dock. Treacher1 Posted September 25, 2022 #10 Share Posted September 25, 2022 Yes, VERY reliable - have used many times. And if cruise is diverted due to weather or change in itinerary they promptly send full refund!
rajraj Posted July 25, 2023 #11 Share Posted July 25, 2023 Beware! Not only are the prices higher on their website versus contacting the resort directly, they have a very rude customer service team. Additionally there is a rude woman by the name of Ashley that claims to be the ONLY SUPERVISOR with no one above her who is very rude, disrespectful, argumentative and provides false and misleading information. If you get this woman on the phone please escalate but do not accept anything she or her team tells you. Shame on World Travel Holdings for having created this scam side hustle business - Resort for a Day

rajraj Posted August 3, 2023 #13 Share Posted August 3, 2023 Got a call from Sean Tolkin the youngest member of this family run business, World Travel Holding that owns Resort For A Day. He was upset for the review I left on Cruise Crirtic including exposing their business model and poor customer service. When I refused to take down the review, I was told that he will not even listen to the call that I had with Ashley and simply stand by her and that he does not care what opinion, I or any of the other guests have about Resort For A Day, as they company will continue to have more guests. Bullying guests to change their reviews or dismissing public opinion due to arrogance when being part of a family-run business versus earning a place in a company is a poor reflection not only on the company but how this man was raised by his family. Very disturbing!
northshire Posted August 15, 2023 #14 Share Posted August 15, 2023 I used Resort For a Day in Curacao and they were wonderful. No problems and the customer service was excellent.
Rare GetToLivin Posted September 26, 2023 #15 Share Posted September 26, 2023 I've used Resort for a Day for several stops throughout the years, never had an issue and everything is as advertised. I cross-check with Trip Advisor regarding resort reviews, etc., and make the best decision from there.
pd32 Posted May 20 #16 Share Posted May 20 I have to agree with rajraj!!! We went to El Cid using Resort for a day. The resort was very nice but premium alchohol was not included which is not an issue except Jack Daniels is considered premium AND there was NO bourbon option that did not require additional fees. When I contacted them via chat I was offered a 10% coupon on my next visit and basically told they do not know what each resort considered premium. Be very careful when reading the website and inquire inquire inquire, for us we will never use them again. Customer service is terrible. Problem resolution terrible.
