Yinz Posted July 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2022 Has anyone walked from the Port of San Juan to see Old San Juan? Is it a safe walk? Or can you walk from port safely/easily to see any interesting sites from port?

Pan American is a walk and through a not so nice area....not worth it. Take a taxi.

We won't get there until 2:00, so I don't even know what options we will have for touring. It's been about 24 years since I was in San Juan, so I have some planning to do! It depends on what you like. Personally, I like the forts however check when they close. They are US National Parks. There are various restaurants, I don't have a specific recommendation. Some of the other interesting sites (eg, rainforest, snorkeling, bioluminescent bays) may be too far.
