Does anyone know how to determine how many people will be on my up coming cruise?

almost all ships is sailing near 100%

You won’t know until you board the ship. The cruise Director will sometimes mention how many people are on board during one of the shows in the theater. You can also usually ask at guest services.
 

Most ships are sailing at or above 100% double occupancy capacity now. My cruise on the Ecstasy in early June was it 108% capacity (double occupancy).

Just off the Panorama last week and we had 4684 pax according to the cruise director so that is another more than 100% sailing

Most of the time Brand Ambassador John Heald will give information on one ship per week, including the number of expected passengers.  This will be posted on his Facebook page just before sailing.

Carnival has been sailing full for months now. There is no reason to assume it will be anything other than a capacity crowd.
