Hair dryer on Oasis

Sailing on the Oasis in a few weeks and I was wondering what type of hair dryer is in the cabin?  Is it a full sized one and where is it located?  I've been on the Oasis before but its been a while and I can't remember.  Just trying to decide if I need to bring my own or use the one that's in the cabin.  TYIA

They are fairly compact, and not very strong if you have thick hair. If thinner hair, they would probably suffice. I bring my own.

It’s in the top dresser drawer.

Typically in a drawer at the vanity.  Not all that powerful, but not completely useless, either.

Be sure you plug it into the correct outlet.  On some ships the hairdryer is a 220 volt model that needs to be plugged into the 220 outlet for proper performance.

If you have very short to no hair...they work fine.  Otherwise...pretty much worthless if there is any length to your hair.  

 

I always bring my own.   When mine died on a recent cruise, I tried to use the crappy little dryer, but hated it.  I bought a new one in Curacao.  😉

Thanks!  I have short, think hair but I still hate those small low power hair dryers.  I usually bring my own and maybe I will do that this time too just to play it safe.  Thanks everybody!

Good call, if you're at all particular about hair dryers, it's smart to bring your own. The ones in the drawer are better than nothing, but ... just barely. 😉
