Now it’s starting to get interesting, and after one more round, here is where I stand…..

Now let me preface this by saying I have watched the television show hundreds of times. I have a version of this show on the laptop that I am now typing on. I know how to play the game. I know that I should take this offer and run. The audience is begging me to take the deal. Even Gabe is trying to convince me to take the deal.

I don’t know what happened. It might have been the double rum and colas I had playing blackjack this morning. It might have been the three Angry Balls with double shots of Fireball that Argee had served me at the Red Frog Rum Bar a short time ago. But for some insane reason I said “No Deal”! I knew immediately that I made the wrong decision. Of course, the next case I picked, case # 12, would be the $400 case. So here I am with two cases left and my final offer…..

At this point I said, “screw it” and we’ll take whatever is in Patti’s case. It’s ironic that there was $20 in Patti’s case # 20……

I had a great time playing, but I’m still kicking myself in the butt for playing so foolishly!

Afterwards, Patti went back to the cabin to relax on our balcony, and I went back up to the Red Frog Rum Bar to drown my sorrows.

To be continued…..

So happy you got to play and the photos and the way you told the story with them was FREAKING AWESOME!  I agree you should have taken the $171, we all would but it's not the same when YOU'RE on the clock!  Enjoy the $20 anyway!!!

Day # 14 – 9/10/22  -  Fun Day at Sea # 6.

We were up at 6 am to a beautiful day and sunrise. The seas are much calmer today. And the temps will be going up to the mid 80’s. Here are the views from our balcony…..

We used this time to get a jump on our packing. I was also able to get completely caught up on all of our pictures so far. That’s a first for me!

At 10 am Patti made her way to the shops to check out their “sales”. I went to the early bingo card sales and picked up our cards for this afternoon’s $5,000 coverall bingo session. I then went to the casino to cash in the remainder of my chips. I was happy to go home a winner!

I then went up to the Red Frog Rum Bar to say goodbye to my friends. Argee wouldn’t be there until later, so I’ll make sure I stop back to see him later. Here’s the rest of the goofy gang……

Patti is enjoying another Mocha Chocolate Getaway…..

i-hvgbMJp-X2.jpg

We both went over to Chopsticks for lunch. Afterwards, we made our way down to the Follies Theater, where Cruise Director Gabe, and Hotel Director Paul, were conducting a Q & A session…..

This was followed by the $5,000 coverall bingo, which we had no luck at…..

We then went back to the cabin to complete our packing and relax for a couple of hours. Looking outside we could see that the sun would soon be going down on this cruise. It was also getting cloudy out!

Here are Jenniel and Omer…..

We next went to visit with Ramil at the Lobby Bar. Katherine & Marcus were playing there…..

i-q4KFnTh-X2.jpg

i-kmfPBCC-X2.jpg

We then went to visit Angela at the Casino Bar and had our last drinks of the cruise with her. As we made our way back to the cabin, we peeked into the Red Frog Pub where Alterr Jam was playing…….

i-NTszQb2-X2.jpg

We were back in the cabin around 9:30. Here is our final towel animal…..

We then put our luggage outside in the hall. It’s still a sad sight, but it stings a little less when you are doing a B2B…..

Day # 15  -  9/11/22  -  Debarkation Day.

We were up at 7 am to a cloudy rainy day. It is supposed to rain for most of the day today. Here are some views from our balcony as the Carnival Legend sails on the Chesapeake Bay, heading towards Baltimore…..

At 9:30 am we said goodbye to our room steward Kris, and made our way to our meeting place, which is at the Alchemy Bar. They also had the Dining Room extension opened for additional seating. They had a table set up with coffee, tea, juices, and pastries in there…..

Here is the view outside of a rainy Baltimore…..

At 10:10 am we were allowed to debark the ship. Going through customs, finding our luggage, and grabbing a porter were a breeze. We were on the road at 10:35 am. Here are our final looks at the Carnival Legend as we left Cruise Maryland…..

Three hours later we were home in New Jersey, another two cruises completed. The End!

Thanks so much! Next one starts in less than three months. 😎

What's the next one?  I'm doing my first B2B on the Mardi Gras, beginning February 4.  Thanks for sharing all the photos and narratives of your trip, I really enjoyed them.  Was being selected for Deal or No Deal the highlight?

Great review, was really hoping we’d see my parents. I think this is the second time you all have cruised together and no luck  :(.

From playing so much did you get free drinks in the casino this week, or do you usually? Congrats on the winnings!

Thanks for reading and your kind words! We'll be back at it in January for a S2S. on 1/7 we'll be boarding the Freedom from Port Canaveral for a 5 day cruise to Amber Cove and Grand Turk. We have our poolside cabanas already booked at both ports. Once off the Freedom, we will be driving down to Miami and board the Spirit on 1/14, for an 8 day cruise to Princess Cay, Grand Turk, Aruba, and Bonaire. We have not been on either of these ships before, so get to cross them off our list. In April we will be doing a B2B on the Celebration. Looking forward to that as well.

Getting selected for Deal or No Deal was a highlight for sure, but playing Fun Golf in Bermuda, and visiting the Titanic grave site in Halifax were up there as well.:classic_cool:
