This is a mini golf course like no other that we have played. It’s 18 holes are designed to replicate some of the best golf holes of the United States and the world. Don’t worry though, the sand traps do not have sand in them, and you can putt through them if you have to. Here are some shots as we played Fun Golf…..

I absolutely loved this course when we visited Bermuda. It's probably the most challenging mini golf course I've played. And Jeff, I'm glad we encouraged Saint Greg to try it out -  although my score was nowhere near as good as his.🙂

It was just about 5 pm and it was starting to rain again, so we decided to head back to the ship. The Carnival Legend is there waiting for us…..

Here’s another view of the Norwegian Getaway docked at the Heritage Wharf….

IMG_4955-X2.jpg

The Carnival Legend docked at King’s Wharf…..

IMG_4953-X2.jpg

Our cabin is up there somewhere…..

IMG_4957-X2.jpg

IMG_4958-X2.jpg

Patti instructs me to board the ship, and then go stand out on our balcony. Of course, I comply…..

IMG_4962-X2.jpg

IMG_4960-X2.jpg

Pretty much the camera was put away for the day at this point. We hung out in the cabin until 7 pm when they started selling the cards for tonight’s edition of Deal or no Deal……

IMG_4964-X2.jpg

The show started at 7:30. We have our cards, and our drinks are coming……

IMG_4965-X2.jpg

The first player won $350, the second player won $200, and our cards won $50, so we came out $10 ahead for the night.

Afterwards, Patti decided to go to the Deli for a turkey wrap, and I went to Punchliner’s to see Matt Sadler’s 8:30 PG show. He was very funny for it being a PG show, so I’ll give him an 8.5 out of 10.

I met Patti back at the cabin around 9:30. Here is tonight’s towel animal…..

IMG_4980-X2.jpg

Coming up next:  Rain, Rain, please GO AWAY!

Just dropped in to say how much I’m enjoying your review. Patti takes good pictures, and I appreciate that you do them justice by separating each one. It’s sometimes difficult for me to figure out where one picture ends and another begins when all the photos are lumped together. I also like that you describe what you’re showing as you go along. Hope there’s more to come.

Day # 5  -  9/1/22  -  Bermuda day # 2  (back on board 12:30 pm).

We were up at 7am, and our wishes didn’t come true. It is still pouring outside!

IMG_5004-X2.jpg

IMG_5005-X2.jpg

If it stops raining, our plan is to walk over to the National Museum of Bermuda. In any event, here are today’s “Fun Times”…..

IMG_4985-X2.jpg

IMG_4986-X2.jpg

We also received our B2B information last night. We are required to be tested to meet Canadian regulations, and that will happen at 3 pm this afternoon in the Firebird Lounge…..

IMG_4987-X2.jpg

We head up to the Lido for breakfast, and afterwards head back to the cabin to wait (hopefully), for the rain to stop. Patti gets some laundry together to send out, and I work on the multitude of pictures that Patti took yesterday. Here are some more views of a rainy Dockyard…..

It never did stop raining, so we never left the ship. We sail at 1 pm, so Patti and I decide to watch our sail away from our balcony. Of course, now the rain stops! Time to throw the lines…..

Now that the rain has stopped, the Floating Fun Park is getting some action…..

IMG_5030-X2.jpg

We are now sailing from Bermuda…..

A little before 3 pm, we head to the Firebird Lounge for our rapid antigen test, which is required for our next cruise. I think we were more nervous for this test then any of our previous tests, because we had read the many accounts of people saying they tested positive after debarking their cruises. When we got to the Firebird Lounge, we found that they hadn’t even begun setting up yet. You would have thought they would have already been ready for us!

IMG_5055-X2.jpg

IMG_5054-X2.jpg

They finally set up for testing…..

IMG_5061-X2.jpg

IMG_5057-X2.jpg

There were around 42 B2Ber’s that had to be tested, so it would take a little while. When we were done, they told us to go back to our cabin, and if we don’t hear from them in a half an hour, we were negative. So back to the cabin we went. That phone better not ring! Well, we beat the clock, and eventually we received the paper copy of our results…..

IMG_5063-X2.jpg

Happy and relieved that it was over, we went down to the Casino Bar to celebrate with Angela. She was so happy that we would be sailing with her the next cruise…..

IMG_5069-X2.jpg

IMG_5070-X2.jpg

Always working, Patti took shots of some of the Casino Bar menus…..

Here are our bread plates and accompaniments…..

IMG_5085-X2.jpg

The amuse bouche was a potato and cheese something or other. It was very good…..

IMG_5096-X2.jpg

We both had the jumbo shrimp cocktail…..

IMG_5098-X2.jpg

Patti also had the French onion soup, while I had the mushroom risotto…..

IMG_5103-X2.jpg

IMG_5104-X2.jpg

For her main, Patti had the lobster with a baked potato with all the fixings…..

IMG_5106-X2.jpg

I had the spice rubbed ribeye with wasabi mashed potatoes, and three mustard sauce…..

IMG_5107-X2.jpg

We both had and enjoyed the apple tart with vanilla ice cream……

IMG_5109-X2.jpg

It was an excellent dinner all around! Patti was stuffed, so she decided to head back to the cabin. I went to the Sports Bar for a drink, and then headed to the Punchliner to catch Randy Kagan’s “R” rated show. As usual, I got my corner bar seat with a perfect sightline to the stage…..

IMG_5111-X2.jpg

Randy Kagan performs at The Punchliner Comedy Club…..

IMG_5120-X2.jpg

IMG_5123-X2.jpg

IMG_5125-X2.jpg

He was very funny. I gave him an 8.5 out of 10. Afterwards, I stopped at the Casino Bar and had a couple with Angela before heading back to the cabin for the night. The laundry that Patti sent out this morning has returned…..

IMG_5126-X2.jpg

Here is tonight’s towel animal……

IMG_5128-X2.jpg

Tonight, we set our clocks back an hour to get back on Eastern Daylight Savings Time. We also received our invites to the VIFP party tomorrow.

Coming up next: Another fun day at sea!

I got here a bit late but you are still on the first half of your B2B so I’m catching up! Lots of yummy food so far I see! Glad I am joining you and you tested negative before the second leg. We did Canada New England in August on Princess and got Covid when we got home 😢. Our first cruise back since 2019. I don’t know how so many others escape it. So I think virtually cruising with you two is my limit for a while!

Hi Jeff and Patti. I'm playing "catch Up". I returned form the Enchanted Princess on Saturday. (Sept. 17- 24) Canada NE Cruise. Missed 3 ports due to the weather ruff seas Newport RI (tender) Bar Harbor Maine (tender) and Halifax. Just went to Boston and St. John New Brunswick.  We left late out of Brooklyn around 6:30pm. Therre were people at LGA with Princess transfers. So I didn't get any photos of VN Bridge or Carnival Magic. Olive Man and Judi were going on this sailing, but, Olive Man broke his foot a couple of weeks ago and had to Cancel.

Hey Barb! Glad you made it. Sorry that the weather played havoc with your cruise. We had to deal with some rain, but we didn't miss any ports. I need to get in touch with Mike and Judi, it's been a while. 😎

Hey gang! Our Patriots are in the finals so we have games tonight and hopefully tomorrow. I'll be back to posting full time once the finals are over. Thanks for your patience! 😎

Go Patriots. I would try to go to the game but, I tested Postive for Covid. Had the Negative test before boarding.
