YAY!! a review of the Legend. I was onboard for 8 nights the last week of July, had a great time and won a decent amount in the casino. So that's always good- ha.. I really enjoyed Chopsticks. I believe I ate lunch there everyday and had never tried it before. I also was on deck 5 but the other side in cabin 5133, I think. Our cabin steward was Anthony and honestly the best steward I ever had. Anthony did a couple of things for us that really impressed me. Actually a lot of the crew impressed me.. the higher ups not so much.

Anyway, I have noticed Patty plays bingo each cruise, have you ever won? Looking forward to the rest of your review. It will tide me over to my Horizon cruise next month. Take care..

I haven't had time to be on CC much lately, but a little voice in the back of my head was telling me that it must be time for another Jamman trip report...and here it is! As usual, you're off to a great start and Patti's new camera looks like it takes amazing pics! Can't wait to read the rest. This will have to tide me over until my cruise on the Valor which is 30 days from today! First cruise since May, 2019! And I can't wait!

Thanks for reading! Patti has won quite a few times, but not recently. She'll play twice a cruise now, the win a cruise bingo, and the coverall jackpot.:classic_cool:

Glad to have you back on board again!  Enjoy your cruise on the Valor, one of the few Carnival ships we've yet to sail on!:classic_cool:

If it's that bad for us, think how bad it is for HIM.  Everyone standing, pointing cameras and phones at him.....I remember some record to beat Jeter had going.  When he did (can't remember exactly what it was) he said he just wanted to get it over with!  💪  I'm sailing tomorrow.  Hoping he hits a few into the bleachers tonight!

Good thing Judge turned down that 200 mil contract offer earlier in the year. He should be able to get 300 mil now.

Might even be able to cruise in a balcony cabin during the off season......I've been a Yankee fan since I was old enough to walk and talk but the salaries are INSANE.  Now back to cruise talk!!!

Hey Karry!  Did you know that the Somerset Patriots are the Yankees Double AA team? The Patriots just swept the Portland Sea Dogs in the semi-finals. Portland is Boston's Double AA team. How ironic! The finals begin tomorrow against the Erie Seawolves, which is Detroit's Double AA team. Our first home game is Tuesday.

Have a fantastic cruise! I know that you'll be sailing alone, though you really won't be sailing alone. Jim will be with you the whole time! :classic_cool:

That's very interesting!  Oldest son and family go to Rockland Boulders games all the time.  We're in NE NJ and NY is right near us.  Funny, our first cruise was PBA charter on Horizon to Hamilton and St. George.  Our boys were young-Jim was president and had to go (free lol) my parents would stay with boys.  NOT ME!!!!  Tell me how a heavy ship floats on the water but otherwise no way Jose!  Long story short I was dragged on the ship by Jim and friends.  By the time we passed Statue of Liberty I was hooked! And the rest is history lol.  It's going to be tough getting on the ship without him, but I will always be grateful he took me on so many voyages and I'll cherish all the memories. We always wanted to sail Magic or Breeze (but our favorite is still Pride, Spirit Miracle and Legend!)  so I'll do that tomorrow for us.   I'll play the slots and our favorite numbers at roulette too!  It's very kind of you to mention that and I thank you from bottom of my heart.  And GOOD LUCK to your team!

Day # 4  - 8/31/22  -  Bermuda day # 1.

We were up at 7 am as we were sailing into Bermuda. It is cloudy and 80 degrees, though it appears that the sun is trying to peek out. The weather is not favorable for our two days here in Bermuda, with a 60% chance of rain both days. Here are today’s “Fun Times”…..

I believe it was Jeter's 3K hit. Ironically it was a HR, something Jeter was not really known for. Take care and have an awesome cruise. Whenever Judge gets his HR, I am sure you will see it hundreds of times..

As soon as the Carnival Legend was tied up it began to rain. We were planning on heading over to Horseshoe Bay today, but with the rain we cancelled those plans. Now here is a tip for you. If you are planning to go to Horseshoe Bay, do not buy the overpriced transfers from Carnival. There are vans that run back and forth from the pier all day that charge $7 per person, each way.

It’s raining pretty hard now, so we head up to the Lido for breakfast. Afterwards, we went back to the cabin to hang out for a while. Around 11 am the rain stopped, and the sun even peeked out, so off the ship we went. Here we pose by the King’s Wharf sign…..

This is a mini golf course like no other that we have played. It’s 18 holes are designed to replicate some of the best golf holes of the United States and the world. Don’t worry though, the sand traps do not have sand in them, and you can putt through them if you have to. Here are some shots as we played Fun Golf…..

When all was said and done, Patti beat me by shooting a 61 to my 65, and no, I did not let her win! I was hot and thirsty, so I made my way over to the Frog & Onion, while Patti went over to check out Snorkel Park Beach……

All done at Snorkel Park Beach, Patti is making her way over to the Frog & Onion. Here she passes the National Museum of Bermuda. Our plan is to check this out tomorrow…..

IMG_4883-X2.jpg

I really liked the Whale of a Wheat beer…..

IMG_4882-X2.jpg

Patti sat down with me to have a drink and to cool off for a while. After about a half an hour, Patti decided that it was time to start her Dockyard picture tour. You know where I stayed. :classic_biggrin:

As Patti left the Frog & Onion, she spotted this cat just hanging out. This cat has the life, especially with all those plump chickens running around!
