UK cruisers - do you wear a lanyard?

Hi all,

 

I am going on a P&O UK cruise where they have traditional cruise cards. 
 

Where do you keep your cruise card? I’ve seen a lot of Americans online that wear a lanyard. 
 

I don’t want it to get lost but also want to access it easily.

Up until this year, I always used a lanyard.  On Anthem of the Seas last month,  l didn't as it would have proved awkward to get a hole punched in the card that didn't interfere with the electronics.  As the onboard  app was used, l kep my card in my phone wallet.

Most all my travel clothes have pockets.  Once you get used to pockets, you don't want to live without them.  Life is so much easier.

I always carry a small wallet with the card in it.

 

I don't wear a LY. Makes you look like a child in day camp.

 

How many times a day do you really use it?

I stick it in my pocket.  Easy !

Cards are just the right size to keep in my pack of cigarettes.

But more than once I've had to fish an empty pack back out of a trash bin because I'd forgotten my card was in it. 🤣

Yes, always. I'm company for my OH, who used to lose his card several times a day, so now I pack 2 lanyards and make him wear one, so...  😇

I carry my card in my pocket. I hate lanyards. I also hate items in my pocket, but since it's the only thing I need when on a cruise ship, I make do...unless I'm able to foist it upon my husband! That's my first choice!

I always assumed that British tailors and dressmakers were sensible enough to contemplate including pockets -- not that outre a concept.

Used to happen to me - when I hung by my knees upside down, but not so much nowadays.

Yorkshire men are widely known to have very short arms, and very deep pockets.
