Does Sharon know if they add 18% gratuity to this? I assume they do but am not sure. I am assuming my Apple crisp was like 7.25 or so after 18% and then I probably tipped an extra 1.00 making it 8.35

 

(I am just extreme budgeting for my upcoming trip LOL)

Sharon got a white mocha twice. 1st one she was charged $7.02.  The second was $7.95.  She nows that the 2nd one was a venti.  Not sure about the 1st.

The machine is not on the side like I remember most being.  I need to stay away more this cruise with all I am eating.   I say that after drinking a milkshake.  😆   In the past I drank a milkshake almost every night.  Since I slowed way down my weight is getting better.

Awesome, thanks! I think I will probably just stick to Starbucks once daily vs the Coffee Card for the 4 day cruise...seems like it would be almost the same price, although the coffee card is still a better value at 2 grande drinks per day on a 4 day cruise. I think I prefer the actual Starbucks drinks more than the Cafe Promenade.

I never have tried standup.  I used to be on the other side a lot but I haven't since start up.   We have a younger guy with us this time.  If he tries it I might join in.

If I remember right if you don't use a card up you can use the rest on the next cruise.   Maybe someone here can verify.   Our new TA has got use some OBC so it is taking care of coffee and extra tips at dinner.

you are assuming I wouldn't LOSE said card lol. idk will have to think on it. The OBC I am supposed to get from Next Cruise certificate hasn't posted to my cruiseplanner yet. It never appeared on my allure sailing from cruise next (Was supposed to get 50.00, since i bought the certificate in September 2022 and used it in Oct 2022), but they refused to give it to me at guest services. So if I do not get the OBC from this certificate, I will not be buying them in the future.

What the heck is a venti? In Italian it is the number twenty. I don't understand any of the Starbucks talk.

Open the camera and see if you can see an option for it.  It probably not there because you have to add to it what you want.  Scroll to the right and hit more.  It will open up to more options. Hold down Hyperlapse and drag it down to the main line.  Tap it and you are ready to go.

I am nor a Starbucks guy.  I don't even drink coffee.  Sharon says it the largest size drink.  Maybe it's a 20oz drink.   I really don't know.

it's basically a "large" size. So in terms of coffee, a "Tall"/small, is one shot of espresso in your drink of choice, "grande"/Medium, is 2 shots of espresso in drink of choice, "Venti/Large" is 2 shots of espresso in drink of choice, but just has more...volume.  Usually a Venti is only .50-75cents more (On land anyhow), so it's for people who just want their beverage to last longer. I normally only get Venti with my Starbucks freebie reward and I add an extra shot.

Me either, Couple days ago we drove by an Starbucks just opened near us. Told my Wife I don't think I have ever set foot in  a Starbucks anywhere. Do they actually have food in there or do people just go in there to drink a cup of coffee?

Never did get it why people rave about Starbucks like they do. I'm just as  happy with a K-cup at home. 🙂

hmm, you are missing out. Starbucks has some delish selections right now. Normally I order a Caramel Macchiato Skinny, but their fall selection right now is amazing. I love the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato and I thought I didn't like Oatmilk.  Definitely only of my splurge/indulgences. 

 

I don't care that some people think it's inferior coffee, I think it's a tasty treat haha

Sounds like maybe you just need to go visit one of these shops, when you put all that crap into coffee, do you really get to taste the coffee? Yikes !!  Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, how many calories in that drink?

😆 thanks! I have been working on those legs for 66 years!

 

After you open Hyperlapse look up in the right corner.   There will be a circle with 5x, 10x or whatever speed it is currently set on.  Click on that to find your speed options.   I think I finally set it on 5x for the trolley.   If I was recording a sail away or clouds rolling by I might try 20x or even more.

Also after recording you can open it in the editor and have more options to adjust speed.

do the calories even matter? And I'm just over people shaming me for liking some of Starbucks drinks. Do I love everything they have? No...but I do like a few things and I go usually once on the weekends when I am out running errands or something and it brings me joy.  I also don't care if people don't like Starbucks, different strokes and all that.
