I just read that Tony of La Lido Loca cruise vlog is with you on Allure.  He also liked "Oh What a Night.  I enjoy his comments.  He can be found on you tube, tells it like it is and cruises on all different cruise lines.

When you say the lower level in the nightclub is cold, do you mean the entire first floor?  I wonder if Oasis is like that. I always take a sweater but that wouldn't help much would it, unless I wrap in around my legs 😏

I just did a search to see who you were talking about.   He looks familiar.  I actually believe I met his wife Jenny yesterday.   I saw a lady walking the deck with a new 360 camera that I have been interested in. An Insta 360.  I talked to her about it.  It was recording while we were talking.  She said she was recording for her husband.

I wore a jacket the Second night and Sharon wore a sweater. It made a big difference.  It was the left side of my waist that froze the 1st night because it was blowing cold between the seats.  I don't know if it's the entire 1st floor,  we only sat in the lower section in the Amber Theater.

I tried a new setting tonight called Hyperlapse.  It is like time-lapse but you don't need a tripod to hold it steady.  Here is an example from the flowrider tonight.

Wow that is cool . Is that you? If so I’m really impressed. I couldn’t do that.

😆 No, just an example Hyperlapse. If your new phone has that option try it out.  You can set it at various speeds.  All shot at without a tripod.

I never have tried standup.  I used to be on the other side a lot but I haven't since start up.   We have a younger guy with us this time.  If he tries it I might join in.

I don’t think my phone has that. That is a cool feature . I’d love for you to do the flow rider. I wish I could learn but I don’t need to break the other collarbone. Have a great day. Cheers!!!!

Diamond 💎 free 24 hour Internet Tip.

Not sure if I mentioned this yet.  Sharon has a 4 device plan under her name.  We do this each cruise and share with our cruise couple in another cabin. Works fine and saves.  We are all diamond so we each get 24 hours free.  We are able to let our Solo cruiser use the four free 24 hours. Two days ago we set it up at 2 pm and it lasted until 2pm yesterday..  He will start another up this morning. Each one needs set up separately but it's no trouble.   No need to let them go to waste.  You can share them with anyone.

Balcony tip

If you stay in a balcony cabin remember that when you open the balcony door it will turn off the a/c. You have to make sure when you close the door that the handle is all the way down even when on the balcony.  The 1st day we did not get the handle all the way down.  Luckily we noticed it getting warmer before we left the room.

It had been a while since we have been here but as we were walking down the pier the memories were coming back.

As you exit the pier RC will want to snap your picture a few times.  There is a booth to get towels if you did not bring one off the boat.  Further on you will see an information booth off to your right.  You can pick up an Island map. Walk Further and to your right you will find a trolley station.   The trolley goes all around the island.

There are many areas to hang on the Island.  We like a less crowded area.  A lot will walk to the nearest beach and get going.   Other think that if they get on the trolley and go to the end it will be less crowded and it may but we are headed to our favorite spot, Adrenaline Beach.

We our at Johnny Rockets.   Yang is taking our order and does not understand most of what we are asking for.  😆 We will see what we end up with.

Heads up.  Seems to be different each ship and sometimes each itinerary but at this time we are able to get milkshakes with our diamond drinks...... if he understood what we were asking. 😆

Here is a big plus change!  How often have you started an ice drink with a paper straw and it was worthless half way through the drink? The straws they use now hold up nice.  They are thin but work.

these straws are great!

Also if you don't mind, would  you snap a picture of the cafe promenade/starbucks current menu pricing? Forgot to get this on my time on Allure

The milkshake straws are the same but bigger.

I will try to remember.   Sharon goes to Starbucks often.

My receipt from last time said 8.38 for grande oatmilk apple crisp...but I can't remember if that was the actual price or if I tipped extra. The other times I used my coffee card. I am trying to decide if I want to get the coffee card for my upcoming 4 night cruise OR just do starbucks once a day and supplement that with some free redbulls from the casino (I am prime)

I hope after the company gains attention, there will be more independent reviews on how legitimate their claims are. But as a consumer, I just do the best I can with the info I have. Have to trust they aren't sh*tting us.

Wow, discovered a big negative about the UDP.  The 1st day we board and hurried to book reservations.  Shortly  after we ate lunch at Giovannis then to the room to unpack, then a trip to the muster station.  Before you know it Dinner. Why is this a negative?

If you have followed a live of mine before you would know that one of the 1st things I do is get ice cream!

It's day 4 and I just got my 1st ice cream! That can't happen again!

I think it was one of the Oasis cruises we did last January, they were still using those horrible paper straws.  Anyhow, it was interesting that we saw the captain’s officers getting handfuls of the Starbucks straws every morning, and nothing else from there.   They must have hated those paper ones also.
