🛳 Live from Allure 10-15 to 10-23 with Starlink

On the road again.   Sure is good to be on the road again.  I just love going cruising with my friends....


Hello friends! We are on our way to Ft Lauderdale to board the Allure.   Our last cruise was Alaska so I am looking forward to a warm cruise.
We will be cruising with our usual cruise couple and we will be joined by a solo cruiser who be cruising RC for the first time. 
Here are the ports we will visit.

I have no pics of pets we are leaving but here is one I am looking forward to seeing on the ship.

Will look for you this week. Can't wait to be on the "high seas" again for 14 days. My DH is headed to the Ozarks  in November ( Woopigsooie) to Boston Mt. 

Safe travels today. We are headed down in a few hours but our commute is much shorter.

We will be flying out of Memphis.   Last year at this time we cruised on Symphony.  Our cruise couple friends had their flight canceled on the drive to the airport and our flight was canceled after the cruise and we didn't get a new flight for a couple days.  So once we get to Ft Lauderdale I will be totally relaxed.

Glad we will be cruising together.   I hope we meet.  I love meeting people on a cruise.  Just start callin' the Hawgs and I'll find you.   😆   Actually years ago, when we cruised out of Galveston, I was above the pool and yelled out Woooooo Pig Sooie.  It really got loud after that.  Several started the calls for their school.  It ended with everyone chanting SEC SEC SEC SEC.  It was fun.

The last time we were on Allure was 2013. 

I remember the bed was not to comfortable but it was a nice atmosphere.   This time we are in an OVB.


I remember sitting with a gentleman.   I can't remember his name.  Quite guy.

I remember helping a lady with her golf swing.

And we enjoyed hanging with the little critters.

STARLINK 

 I was following @aubreyc1988 live on Allure.   She mentioned that an IT said Starlink should be ready in two weeks!  Then yesterday a friend on Dani's thread mentioned they are currently on Allure and that Starlink is now working. It is just starting up so I am curious how it will go.  I will try to remember to keep you updated on how it is performing.

We said we would never be able to sail Allure again, but we booked her for Galveston next June.

thank you! Allure is moving to homestate so I may sail her again. I hope starlink performs well!

Our TA found us a good deal on Allure out of Galveston in January.   To made our cruise dates line up.  Would love to share Ohio stories with you. 

I need to check with my brother if he is growing garlic this year.  He lives in Seville. 

I hope we can find a lucky slots machine.

We enjoy cruising out of Galveston.   We cruised Liberty right before the shutdown.   Our daughter asked if we wanted to join them on their Honeymoon cruise 😆 

We will cruise Allure in January.   Every 7 day Allure cruise has the same itinerary.  I prefer the larger ships but they are going to have to offer different itineraries to a lure us in more.

yes love that tower 4 machine...I also love any of those crazy loud 2 cent machines, you will know what I mean when you get onboard HAHA

I am currently trying to decide if I want to do Allure or Harmony or Symphony in April. I might be able to squeeze in a 5 day on Adventure out of Galveston but it depends on a lot of things...AND I want to go on NCL Prima (holy cow the pricing tho) Decisions, decisions haha!

The $8 free play would last awhile on the 2 cent machines.

I am here, following along, since I canceled my Voyager sailing this weekend.  
 

I love those 8 day itineraries.  You won’t notice much difference in the ship from 2013

Oh you misunderstand haha. It's a 2cent denomination machine, which means each credit played is 2 cents and to play all 50 lines, the min bet is 1.00. But those games bonus A LOT in my experience.

Those are the 3 Oasis class ships we have cruised.   We love Oasis class ships but the funny thing is we haven't cruised Oasis!  🤣  We considered Wonder but haven't found a reasonable price.  Maybe when the new itineraries come out.

Supposedly I could get on Wonder too (Via a casino comp certificate) but I am sure all cabins are sold out for comps so I haven't asked. I've sailed Oasis but it's a solid no thanks to CATS
