That's a great idea.  You'd probably get a lot of people posting.  I've got some old pics that I could add.

It would be cool  to show the ship name and year taken.  If I start the thread it will be a week or two after this.  I can't keep up with this thread.

Maybe we will talk later about it on Dani's thread.  We will need to team up with others.

I think I may have a photo of me from 2006, pulling a heaving line that was attached to the mooring line of the Serenade.

We got off the boat at least an hour after the port was open and there were plenty of chairs available when we got there.

Out from us was the floating bar.

We got a drink they called a Labaduicy.   They said it is made from the various island fruits.   It was good.

We got our Doodles ready.   These are blowup noodles.  They are great traveling noodles.   Very light and takes up very little space.

I am not sure if you are restricted in what you can smoke but there is a smoking area down from where we were.

While Greg @Sea Dog has popularized these shots lately, @harryfat1 was taking them many years ago as part of his Cheapo Dad trip reports.  He's the OG, as far as I know.  Doesn't really matter though...the more the merrier.

Harry...since the original context was lost, we're talking about mooring line pictures.

Bob,

Thanks for the shout out. Glad to see more people are starting to like the Mooring line pictures.

I'm not sure who was the OG, but I started posting my Mooring Lines back with my 2014 trip report.  I was so clueless back then that I didn't even they were called Mooring line.  Someone from the trip report had to clue me in on the right name...

Looking back at the old picture archives from 2014

I'm over at the Princess boards now spreading the gospel on Mooring lines with my latest cruise report on Alaska.  They have totally different setup compared to the Caribbean ports.

Somewhere down the line (pun intended), we should create a database listing the ports & which pier these pictures are taken from and make notes on how accessible they are.  We can even get into specifics where these are Bow or Aft lines...

Port: Icy Strait Point

Pier: Wilderness Landing Dock

Line Position: Bow Lines with no walk up accessibility

Port: Juneau

Pier: Franklin Pier

Line Position: Aft Mooring line with no accessibility

Giovanni’s
While looking at appetizers I saw Mozzarella Di Bufala.  Heirloom tomatoes.  I thought really,  I grow heirlooms.   I thought they were trying to make a regular tomato sound good.   I was so surprised.   Get this, it's good.  The pesto like basil around it was good too.

The filet has been the Best steak on the ship so far.

Linguine alle Vongolle for my pasta.  I wanted some clams.  You can get 1/2 or full servings of pasta.   I got half but wished I would of asked for full clams.

When looking at the description of the deserts none looked appealing.   The waiter picked 2 he wanted me to try.  Both were real good.  The second was my favorite!

Have you done a speed test in the last day or so?  Just curious to how it is working.

It's still not Starlink but not bad.  About to get off soon.  I will try to remember later.  Last night I had to turn the wifi off and back on to get it going again.   A lot better than Alaska.

I don’t know what they do but the Filet in Giovanni’s is the best on any. I will say my Fiket at the Chef’s Table last night was outstanding. Love the pics and glad you are having a great time. Today we will be with Stingrays.

Are you finding it a challenge to keep up with the live?  We are headed to Eagle Beach.
