Dale Chihuly's glass sculptures can be found in museums and gardens all over the world. I can't wait to see it in person in just over a week. I did not know that this was a Chihuly. I’m only familiar with his famous work at the Bellagio.
Rare mahdnc Posted October 30, 2022 Author #327 Share Posted October 30, 2022 At Ponta Delgada my wife and I took an independent private full day tour in a 4x4. Our first stop was the Sete Cidades caldera on the west end of the island. On the way there we saw this old aqueduct. And we saw cows. Lotsa cows. Rare mahdnc Posted October 30, 2022 Author #329 Share Posted October 30, 2022 (edited) Next stop was Lagoa do Fogo in the center of the island. From there you could see Constellation docked at the pier: Edited October 30, 2022 by mahdnc

Rare mahdnc Posted October 30, 2022 Author #337 Share Posted October 30, 2022 (edited) We had breakfast today up at the Oceanview Café. Omelette station: It was not very crowded. It is in very good condition. Rugs look new and tables/chairs are in excellent condition. I always liked the novel floor windows on the OVC of the M class ships. Drink offerings and prices: My wife prefers the buffet for breakfast where I prefer the MDR. So we’ve been alternating. Rare mahdnc Posted November 1, 2022 Author #350 Share Posted November 1, 2022 Our internet connection has been nonexistent for the last 30 hours. There were supposed to be two NFL football games televised in our stateroom at 3 pm as well as in the public areas yesterday (Sunday). However the satellite connection was poor, we didn’t get to see anything. With the Internet connection down along with it, I couldn’t complain to anyone about it either!
