Rare go.without.you Posted November 1, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2022 If you are sailing solo in a suite I have heard you are allowed to invite a guest to Luminae for no charge. Is this true?
39august Posted November 1, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 1, 2022 No. It is $30 for dinner and I think $20 for lunch.
wrk2cruise Posted November 1, 2022 #3 Share Posted November 1, 2022 (edited) For solo passengers who pay the 200% single supplement I believe they allow 1 guest in Luminae for suites and Blu for AQ. I've certainly heard of it being done on multiple occasions. It probably is still at the discretion of the Matre'd. The recent zero single supplement sailings I also heard it was not allowed. Before the screaming starts. Remember these people are paying for both berths in the cabin and are not affecting the crowding in these venues. goofysmom99 Posted November 1, 2022 #5 Share Posted November 1, 2022 I've always been asked by Retreat concierge if I would like to bring a guest, even when they knew I already had friends (couples) traveling in suites. I've never brought anyone, but I've been asked.

Please do not post misinformation. I have sailed solo and have been offered this.

I'm 100% sure in Blu you can bring a guest if solo, the single supplement % doesn't matter and the M'D doesn't know how much you paid. I have zero experience with Luminae but am GUESSING it's the same.

I've had as of yet nothing today to get all wound up about. Alas, back to hunting for threads where I can vent ad infinitum. 😋
