Allure of the Seas arrives a day early in Galveston TX

The Allure of the Seas was scheduled to arrive on November 9, 2022 but arrived a day earlier.  It's looking like the official opening of the new RCL Cruise Terminal and the maiden voyage of the Allure from Galveston is a thing.

I’ll be boarding early as you get off (unless you stay on Sunday).  Any way we could meet in passing to get your TA contact info, since we can’t ask here?.  Or maybe have someone on ship hold it for me?

I'd love to meet but I think they are booting us off early for yje shuttle back to iah.

If you go to Bow and Stern to train bartenders, ask for Joshua.   Supper nice bartender.   He is scheduled to leave Allure the week before we board again but said he is trying to extend it to the end of January. If you meet him please tell him we said hi and wondering if he is going to be there when we board again.

Thanks!  My daughter has already given me my marching orders....at least 1 drink at every bar.

You shouldn't go thirsty, but you'd better pack some comfortable walking shoes and Alka-Seltzer.

 

Bars on the Allure in no particular order:

 

Amber Theater, Studio B, Jazz on 4, Blaze, Comedy Live, Casino, Boleros, On Air Club, Bow & Stern, Cafe Promenade, Champagne Bar, Sorrento's, Schooner, Dog House, Sabor Bar, Aquatheater, Vintages, Trellis Bar, Rising Tide, Park Cafe, Dazzles, Pool Bar, Sand Bar, Solarium Bar, Sky Bar, Mast Bar, Windjammer and the Wipe Out Bar.

I'm on Harmony in December '23 and first time sailing out of Galveston.  Are you using Royal's shuttle and it so can you report and advise of the specifics and how it went.

Not sure if it's the same shuttle or not.  Since this is a complimentary cruise they are providing shuttles but I'm not sure how they will compare to the ones the week after.  Im guessing they will be Dimitar.  We have been told which baggage carousel to meet at..that's sll I know for now.
