This is a photo of the NCL Prima pulling into dock next to us already docked in Cozumel. We have already been docked and cleared to disembark. What is worthy to note for those getting off the ship whenever another ship is proceeding to dock at the same pier is that the dock 'agents' stop all gangway exits and entrances until the docking procedure is completed by the incoming ship. So all those in line have to wait for 30-45 minutes getting on or off.  Travel enthusiasts beware.

X announced Kate as the new Captain of Beyond a while ago.

Simone Biles was also announced as Beyond's Godmother.

Do you mean Ascent? As we have been on MSC Seashore board and ship the past 8 months and are behind on Celebrity news. Most of the Edge's crew that expected to be on this Beyond are not here. Did see butler Katarina is here on Beyond. Understand that amenities like new (60) washer/dryers for crew has made the crew laundry a favorite meeting place on board. Popular concierge Jonathan on the Equinox put in for transfer due to having only 2 'working' washers for crew on Equinox, when a friend sent him photo of the laundry facilities on the Apex. Perhaps (this is only a guess) that these seasoned popular crew would rather wait it out at home than sign another contract on the S or M class.

Yes. Captain Kate will be taking the helm of the Beyond, but we did not know that she will be the captain of the new Ascent when it deploys.

Yes, this is first I've heard Captain Kate will be taking Ascent although not surprised. She's has a huge following and it's working for Celebrity.

Exactly what DW said. C-Dragons is a very helpful, well meaning poster and has helped and defended me on some desperate occasions on this platform that I will not forget.

It has been the practice of X cruises to promote  the Captain of their latest new build to their next new ship.

How is the service in Luminae?  

Just noticed that today in Cozumel, when the Luminae is closed for lunch, one may find your friendly Luminae staff members in other positions. Like our Luminae waiter and sommelier were staffing the Spa Cafe this lunch time, our Luminae hostess was hosting Le Bistro and our assistant waiter was scooping ice cream in the Oceanview Cafe.
