Not true...on our last 5 RCI cruises this year we were able to get a paper Cruise Compass on day 1 at Guest Services and our cabin steward had one in our cabin everynight.

We asked our cabin steward and got day 1 and the rest.

I've cruised twice in the last four months.  I asked both cabin stewards for a Day 1 Compass AND asked at Guest Services.  No Compass for me.

 

But my cabin stewards have been great about bringing me the "next day" Compass each evening, and I appreciate that.

Just two months ago on Allure we got Day 1 from our steward.  Maybe we just lucked out that he still had some.

Same experiences on both legs of our B2B cruise on the Explorer.

Just off b2b on Vision. Asked for it on the  first day (room steward) and received it every day thereafter.

On my last 2 cruises, my cabin steward said that they are told to give Cruise Compasses to  all people over 65.

He had a list of cabins, occupants, C&A status, pre-paid gratuities and if that cabin gets a Compass.

Exactly.    But nothing on that list with personal information like how old someone is.     So you’re saying there was a line item for they get a compass because they are over 65.   🧐

It was a column with a checkmark as was the one for people who get upgraded amenities for being over 340 C&A points.
