Unfortunately, if you run it on a iPhone, you’ll only get the download speed. But still, it helps me identify where the better reception might be in the cabin or, if necessary, around the ship.
 

For example, I usually like to post to my Live From thread while out on the balcony watching for wildlife! 😁 I’ve only had issues so far on the Edge when our SS balcony door was completely closed to keep the AC running in the cabin for the DW. However, no issues when I was on the Apex in a sunset veranda with the balcony door closed. 

 

It will be interesting to hear what you experience will be on the Beyond.

 

I’ll try and post some speed test for you around the ship.

Beyond E2 Edge Stateroom w/infinite Veranda. I know there has been a lot of discussion on liking or not liking this type of cabin, but last year on Apex we had the same type cabin and we actually liked the layout. Again, like food subjective. 

 

 

Suites were out being at sea for 47 days! We have sailed SS on Edge and enjoyed it. I have no issues with this type of cabin, we have sailed in one last year on Apex when we did our 48 day sail. I actually like the infinity balcony.

Good Morning again from Ft Lauderdale! 

 

Embarkation day on the Beyond. There are a few ships in but we will sail out of terminal 25. We docked at 29 yesterday on Equinox. Had never used that terminal before. 

 

Well we woke up as Elite Plus after leaving Equinox! Does it feel different? It’s not like when you woke up and you were 16 years old or even 21 years old. Man those were years ago! 😂

 

Anyway I will have to visit the Captains Club and ask them to change our status. I would like the few additional benefits, whatever they are. 🤔 I have the sheet of benefits printed just have to review them. 

 

Back to you later after boarding.

That's good to hear. We're booked on the Apex in July 2024 for a 12-day Norwegian cruise in an A1 cabin, with a couple of days cruising around in the Arctic. I'm hoping the weather will be cool enough to keep the window open most of the time during the day while we're in the cabin.

We have definitely enjoyed the perk of 2 free bags of laundry each per leg once we finally made Elite+. Have a fun cruise!! 😀

We boarded and have gone through the check list 

Went down to deck 3 for specialty dining. 
Hit a long line. 

 

I was sitting on the side and all the sudden this guy comes up next to me and asked if I wanted specialty dinning! Bingo! No more line. Barbie making reservations! 

 

Then up to the cabin for cards to get dinged in at the Muster station. Barbie isn’t happy with the colors! 😂

Can’t load the pic so will later. 🙄

 

Then we went to Captains Club and Bingo new Elite Plus cards! 
 

Sitting at the Sunset Bar with a drink. More about this bar a bit later, but I really like it.

Good Morning from the Beyond! 
Already made my morning trip to Al Bacio to pick up 4 Americanas. 
 

I will share a bit later the tale of the traveling tray. 🤔

 

Sail away was great, this ship has a different vibe! D J playing people celebrating and the weather the best so far! 

Princess lead the way.

It was an early dinner at Roof Top Grill. 
I really love this place. The steak was excellent and the cookie desert the best. The view is very nice. 

 

The night turned out beautiful! 

 

 

 

We went to the show and it was a comedian Kevin Jordon. Was a police officer then went into comedy. I don’t laugh easy but he was great! I can’t wait for the adult show.

I LOVE THIS SHIP! 
Having sailed Apex and Edge for some reason I love this one the most. They have added some nice touches. 
 

I met an old friend this morning!

Yes it was to the gym this morning. I played the first two legs now it’s time to get back to normal times. 🥲 Golf season will begin when we return and actually it’s time to settle down!

I was able to get 30 minutes in and 1.25 miles. Don’t judge, it will improve! 😂

I really envy you to be able to spend 46 days onboard, as we thought 26 would not be enough for us; however, it was plenty.  It must have something to do with my "Island Fever” being in Hawaii for several weeks and just had to get off the islands.  I never thought cruising would do that to me, but we are all different with things like that!  Oh well, it is what it is. 

 

You two are so cute together and I am thoroughly enjoying all the photos and commentary with the change of ships too.  We have Beyond’s TA/b2b(only 21 days) to enjoy in April, so really looking forward to a beautiful ship, artwork, venues, gym and just relaxing.  Following our cruises,  we chose a land say in Sorrento at an Airbnb. Thanks for sharing your vacation and getting me excited for another Celebrity experience to enjoy...🌎  I am looking forward to more of your commentary and photos!  Life is certainly good for you, so keep it coming.

Where is Ernesto and DWI! 
 

Been spending the afternoon at the Sunset Bar playing cards. I won the first game. Barbie won the last ship series 6-4 so I’m off to a good start! 😂

 

They need help in service. 3 bartenders behind the bar with 4 people at the bar. Every seat taken on deck and there is an occasional walk by from one server. 
We do have the cart pusher.

 

I also have to say the bar staff are not engaging or happy. What can I get you, done. 🙄

let’s see how the days a head work out.

We will also be on the Transatlantic in April and during the crossing it will no doubt be windy and too cold to be out there.  Hoping while in the Med we will have the chance. Last summer on the Beyond we tried numerous times but could not get a table.  We did not want to sit in the smoking area.  

Sure hope the service picks up.  Pretty sure Capt Kate would not be pleased to see what you have described happening.  We are enjoying your 46 days onboard.

It was like this when I was on the Italy and Greek Isle cruise in the summer. One person I saw walking around taking drinks and another with a cart - so nothing changed there at least that is what I saw

Morning!

Fantastic evening! Dinner was very nice, service and special touches. They brought the experience! I had read on some thread that Le Voyage was not included in the specialty dinning package, it is. Since we had the 6 night package there was no charge last night. 
 

We went to the show and it was very enjoyable. The ships team did a nice job.

 

 

 
 

I have to share this one thought, we went on deck 5 to get a seat. 90% of the seats were reserved for suite guest. Ok, I get it, we have had suites many times but….yes I am going to pull the status card, why isn’t there reserved seating for higher status people. On Royal Diamond Plus and above have reserved seating. How about Elite Plus and higher? The argument is always the person who buys the suite for the first time and then the person who has spent $$$$$ over the years. Alright off my box and back to cruising! 
 

Then it was off to the Martini Bar for evening entertainment. The house band is good! Oh and the bar tenders were great too! 

 

Off to the Magic Carpet today. I just read in the daily that we lost an hour last night! 🙄

By the way,  made the trip to Al Bacio this morning and Kate was behind the counter! 😀
