Yes, it’s that topic again.
We’re due to join the Pursuit at the beginning of March. I just wondered if anyone is on board now and can report on what tonic is available. I’d love to know so I can decide whether I need to buy any in Rio before boarding.

Hi. Happy New Year!

On our Christmas cruise on Pursuit (Rio-Rio) our butler (posh, eh?) was able, at our insistence, to procure Schweppes for us, but at most bars, all that was available was the usual swill that Azamara offer. Prime C (posh, eh?) seemed to have Schweppes more often than not.

On Pursuit right now and there are three tonic brands available. Royal, Schweppes and a South American brand. I can try to get the exact name if you are interested. DH is happy with Schweppes so we haven’t tried to find out if there is any fever tree onboard.

Schweppes is visible and available on the trays at the Windows bar and at Spirits. We also have Schweppes in the minibar.

My disappointment is there is no Diet Coke. Only Coke Zero Sugar.

Thanks, that’s great. I’m happy with Schweppes so lets hope they have plenty of it left in March!

DH is quite particular about tonic water. At home, it's always Fever Tree. When we stopped at a pub near Kensington Rail, the G n T was served using 1724 tonic - wow, what a great taste!  We can't get it in MA, so my niece always manages to pick up a few bottles to pack in her luggage when she flies in from the UK.  Hoping we find the tonic in Portugal or Spain while on our upcoming March cruise on the Pursuit. I'm a cosmo drinker and sadly don't see it listed on the basic beverage package - might simply have a Cape Codder, and tote a few nips of cointreau to enhance the taste of my drink. IMO, too port intensive for us to opt into the premium package.

You can get a Cosmo with included spirits. They will just substitute Triple Sec for Cointreau
