So I get a survey from X to know ''me'' then all it asks about is selling me more and how much I know about  the things the want me to buy. Not one ques. about how to improve the ship experience or what they could do to improve . I would think they would throw a few in fake ques just to make it seem like they cared what I thought .X is s good cruise line but I do sometimes notice a bit of arrogance .  Did you get this what did you think

I got it also and didn’t have the same reaction you did.

I answered it, I feel like the things they are selling are getting rather stale, same stuff Cruise after cruise, year after year and a fresh approach would be an improvement.
Also the E class shopping is, in MHO, not something that will be a good deal for the vendors and X.

So if they’d thrown in a few fake questions you’d have been happy???

I received one of those surveys.  I remember a part that asked me to rate new ports of call that I wanted Celebrity to add.  On the list were ports along the Mexican Riviera (at the time Celebrity did not leave out of LA).  I commented that I would like to see the Mexican Riviera but at the time my only options were Princess, Carnival, and NCL.  Not long after I completed my survey, Celebrity announced they would offer cruises out of LA...I'm pretty sure my comments tipped them over the edge. 😂

X surveys have been more about marketing over customer satisfaction  for quite awhile.  Makes it more ironic as  staff on ship still beg for high survey ratings! It's the Royal way!

I agree with comments above that shopping on E class needs a revamp..How many really buy very expensive jewelry versus how many would like a  better selection of  souveniers, tees and gifts for children and grandchildren?

On BEYOND, the used clothing and handbag section was like a  shabby flea market.  Meanwhile nicer new items were stuck in the rear of the shop.

Hey' make it look good . Other surveys do this I think to obscure what they are about. I do think X is a little obnoxious sometimes.

Mexican Riviera cruises were a one off event with Solstice having nothing else to do as the world recovered from Covid. I am looking forward to one in a couple of weeks. Doubt they had anything to do with demand. Indeed, they are practically giving them away to casino players using very very liberal critieria to help fill the ship. After this year, none are scheduled.

We are sailing on one ourselves in early March...wish I could say they gave it away but I'm beside myself with excitement...that alone is worth the money...life's too short 😎.

Solstice is doing it in Feb-Apr 2023 and Eclipse Oct-Dec 2023.

True, I accept your correction, but it appears they will end after 2023.Eclipse will be moving to the Atlantic and Sostice will be back to doing Asia when not in Alaska.
